Kenyan born artist Stella Mwangi is currently working on material for her third full length album. She is an experienced recording artist, songwriter and a world class performer. She has topped the charts several times in Africa and Scandinavia.
Her work has been used in films such as American Pie Presents: The Naked Mile and Save the Last Dance 2, and also in TV-series such as CSI: NY and America´s next top model.
Mwangi has won several awards and is one of the most popular artists in Norway after winning the Melodi Grand Prix to represent Norway in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011. Her song Haba Haba topped the charts for 7 weeks in Norway.
Her latest material is a truly original and edgy mix of the genres hip-hop, dancehall and afro beat, with crossover appeal.
