    Following MarkTwa8n's comment, I think it's also spelled "Fu De," two separate words.

    Actually it is pronounced like "Who Day" and not like "Feude" Nevertheless, it is a nice pen.

    Nakata, the founder of Nakaya & grandson of the founder of Platinum, comes from Japan to John Mottishaw for advice on nibs. This man you are giving pronunciation advice to, has been married to Japanese womean, and knows how the Japanese pronounce Fude. He is John Mottishaw dam it - he may pronounce it anyway he wants
