Beating up Mech Ridley (yes, mech, not mecha) resulted in only the mothership getting blown. But in Super Metroid, defeating Mother Brain in both her forms resulted in the ENTIRE PLANET, and according to that video where someone covers the entire Metroid series in under a short time, therefore Samus' homeworld.

Most of them are remixed super metroid tracks. It is likely that they were added in this hack rom.
