As a working data scientist, I find it is absolutely critical to have a sense when a project isn't going anywhere and may not go anywhere until the field advances.
I am so bad at finishing anything that I celebrate my accomplishment of getting out of bed with a cup of coffee. And then I go back to bed.

I think it is super important to give yourself permission to give up. Maybe not as much as I have - I'd not finished any personal project until a few weeks from now when my novel comes out. I'm almost 40. 😅
That's an interesting POV. Not sure I can forgive myself for leaving projects unfinished. Actually, wait, no. In order to forgive myself, I first need to acknowledge and accept that I'm not coming back to the project "later". Later is a lie 😛
The majority of big name producers George Lucas, Steven Spielberg James Cameron will have ideas for projects and 20 years later the world gets their finished vision. You finish what you start... and don't make excuses or cop out
That was…unsatisfying. And yet, if you produce a 10-20 minute video with more ideas on this topic, I’m interested.
No.. you finish what you started... no matter how long it takes..what you did so far... is not enough... that's the phrase HALF STEPPING '. You will spend the rest of your life not finishing anything you start
