*A great vacuum for the price. The suction is awesome. Excellent for pet hair. The beater attachment works great **MyBest.Tools** on the stairs. Not too heavy and easily maneuvered.*
Why using popcorn kernels for one and wood chips for another? The same debris should be used for both when testing no? For that reason the test seems bias in my opinion.
I purchased both the Roborock S4 and the shark IQ. I have a Tile area and then mostly medium to higher pile carpet (1800sq ft floor). The mapping on the Roborock S4 and the efficiency is awesome. In nearly one pass it had my house mapped to near perfection on the tile floor BUT....I am returning it as it will not function at all on my carpet. It goes bezerk and keeps having an error to remove obstacles. it wont function at all meaning it will only move a few inches on my carpet. If you have wood floor go Roborock all the way you will love it. If you have med to high pile carpet the shark does a great job cleaning and leaves great vacuum lines but it starts cleaning in my house at 7:30 does its thing, then empties and charges and wraps up at 2:00-ish...takes forever. Hope this helps. If you have med carpet do not go Roborock S4.
@@silerme This could either be black on the carpet which confuses the fall detection or metal under the floor which is confusing the magnetic strip sensors.
Irobot is in trouble, with high prices and wrong navigating technology using stupid amounts in R&D. IRobot needs to restructure and look at that business case again. Here i Scandinavia suddenly all roborock models are sold at major electronic stores, that never had roborock products and often are sold out. Management at irobot: Solution let's raise the prices, and put some lights on top 😂😂
i am starting to love roborock for their flagship performance with a price that is just outmatched and a performance like no other in the price category.
Idk I own a Roomba I7 and I love it, it’s self empty bin is what’s got me sold. Lidar on s5 makes it faster but it can only go as fast as it’s bin fills up.
Michael Treppelin yeh taking 30 seconds to empty a bin is just so terrible 😢 roborock makes a better product for less with more advanced tech and app abilities.
Please add cat litter to your testing. That's a real problem at my house. I'm more likely to have cat litter on the floor than jelly beans. :-) I sent my full size Shark cordless vacuum back because it wouldn't pick up cat litter. It would just sit in the wand and as soon as I turned off the power it would pour right back out onto the floor. Not enough powerful suction. I had to go with a Dyson. And I'm thinking the brushes on these robots would just scatter the litter instead of picking it up. I am willing to buy whatever robot I can send out everyday automatically to keep the litter cleaned up. Thanks!
I just got an S4 the other day and it tops Roomba and any other overpriced ones out there. I have it’s docking station under a couch because we have a little 1 year old dare devil that likes to get into everything and The robot can still go straight back from across the house.
Good video..i bought after i watched this video.really i am very happy.just thry need to improve software for more then 1 floor house.still it is not a problem.you can save 3 maps in s60.they say if you bring him other floor it forget the first map.but i have a trick, if you add a bound in map and save, it doesnt forget the map.

True!!!
Roborock S5 cleans my 1,500sq/ft condo everyday and still has 50% battery, amazing vacuum.
Just got the shark iq and the roborock s4, the roborock is literally running circles around the shark
David Williams exactly. I do not like the shark iq

Tricycle Productions idk what you’re implying but ok then.
Michael Treppelin not implying anything. Lidar also work very well at night.
@@MrTricejones32 yeah lidar is better but having all the lights off for roomba i7 it was doin some weird shit lol
Thanks for review, bought it month ago and very impressed. As useful as dishwasher.
Xiaomi all the way, I have one.
now Roomba s9 is your favorite vacuum robot right

Xiaomi destroys roombas
Sadly Roombas are usually cheaper used than used Roborocks…
Awesome

Awesome video man
Does it eat up the cords?
Yes it will try and eat the cords.
Ahh ok. I just bought one so I need to somehow tuck my charging cords and other ones away
The roborock doesnt, just the Roombas. You can setup no go zones with the roborock to prevent the robot going underneath your tv cabinet for example.
Not sure why I’m receiving this notification?
I love the S5. How about you send me one to try out?
I will take all 3 please 😋
Maybe a giveaway at 200 subs
