In case no one has confirmed, yes his first name is pronounced "Jeff" and the last name is pronounced Cast-a-loo-chi.
I don't think Geoff has released anything by himself that isn't well worth listening to. His latest is a cover of Elvis Presley's last released single, "Way Down", and it definitely shows off his willingness to get goofy and funny while still singing superbly. For sheer vocal beauty, I love his "Shenandoah". Everything Geoff has done as a solo video so far has been arranged by himself, and he and the beatboxer, Layne, do almost all of Voice Play's arrangements.
I LOVE Voice Play's theatricality, if you're familiar with the music of 'The Little Mermaid' or the theatrical musical "Wicked", Voice Play's medleys of those are brilliant. They also take a song that was heard briefly in the third Pirates of the Caribbean film, "Hoist the Colours", and turn it into a breathtaking spectacle.
I know you kind of started off on the wrong foot by reacting to the live version of "Oogie Boogie's Song", which had pretty bad audio, rather than the wonderful official video release. But one fan-filmed Voice Play live version which has decent audio and visuals and shows off both their sense of humor and Geoff's amazing range (wait for the ending) is their live version of Elvira.

It's a sad song, writte after seeing the film Days of Wine and Roses, about an alcoholic couple. I never felt that the original captured the pain of the words. Geoff always makes something completely new. If you like the old classics you might want to sheck out two of their short videos: Crazy (Patsy Cline cover) and I Don't Want To Set The World On Fire (the Ink Spots).

His lowest note is B0, which is well into improbable, but - there it is. Geoff does all of his own arrangements, and once he has an idea, his next step is to listen to every single arrangement he can find to make sure it hasn't already been done. As he's said "if you can't add something new, what's the point?"
Check Way Down, and when you do, don't miss reading all of the name tags.

I'm going to suggest Blackbird, High and Dry for quieter, meaningful songs. Blackbird was written by Paul McCartney at the time of the US civil rights and in honor of that - 'take these broken wings and fly'. I grew up in that era and this is so poignant to me. High and Dry was new to me but I love its message. For fun - take advantage of Geoff doing a cover of the Elvis Presley song Way Down. Hold on the Monster Mash for another couple of months - it's a great Halloween song.

I love seeing reactors worrying they aren’t pronouncing “Castellucci” correctly but they actually mispronounce “Geoff”. 😂
You’re FAR from the only one, don’t worry.

It's called codependent relationships, and while it is nice to feel that loved, it has its downsides. BW wrote this song as the husband of a woman with severe addiction issues, and he was seriously asking if she was going to make it back at all. Geoff showed his ability here in that you were able to actually feel the hurt and need of her husband, rather than feeling the "I wish I had a man who loved me that much" that is most common in these sorts of songs.

Have you Heard of the Acapella group Home Free? They have a lot of songs here on RUclips. Their bass singer, Tim Foust, is similar to Geoff. If you'd like to give them a listen, may I suggest Brothers in Arms. Tim also has solo stuff here. You would probably get a kick out of Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow/Stay and My Maria sung with Home Free bandmate Austin Brown.
