As a parent, and a single dad, you have had it rough man. Seeing your kid sick is bad, but going through that is so hard. I don't wish that on anyone. I'm glad your boys ok. Thank the Lord. Take stock of the little things and be thankful for your family and their health. That's what matters. Youve got a boss who understands, money will come and go. Appreciate the honesty and vulnerability here. Props to keep keeping on man. Take care of yourself mentally and physically.
My heart goes out to you!! My daughter has severe epilepsy and has been on a ventilator and crashed multiple times. I get that helpless feeling when you can't stop it. You're in our thoughts and prayers.
I know what it's like to have sick children. My oldest was very ill around 4/5 months and ended up having to have a spinal tap. My husband was out to sea on deployment and my family were all thousands of miles away. The same child ended up with a severe allergic reaction to a dog we just had adopted and was hospitalized. My youngest son was hospitalized with a rattlesnake bite when he was 7 or 8. I fully know the drill with sick kids. I will keep your family in my prayers.
Man, you have been through it. I’m so sorry. Seizures are so scary. My son had drop seizures for 2 yrs and recently had a gran mal seizure. Like you said, I recognized the fall sound. It was super scary, so my heart breaks for you having to see Wilder like that. Thank you for sharing the info about after, we didn’t know that either. I’ll tell my son that so he’s aware. I’ll be praying for you guys.
Bless you! My son went thru seizures starting as Febrile Seizure due to 106 fever and on the resus table! I’m a way I was thankful because we found out he had a tumor he was 18 months old! My mama heart breaks
Same thing happened to my boy when he was 4. It was just he and me in the car. I thought he was gone… I still have nightmares and PTSD. The worst thing ever. I feel ya bro
My daughters seizure was the scariest moment of my life I absolutely relate to that pure terror and panic it can be dangerously draining. Make sure you and summer are finding times for yourself and your mentals when you can sending love and best wishes!
I’m so sorry all that happened to you and your family , what a scary time! I’m so glad Gianna told you about the Epilepsy symptoms afterwards. I pray your stress levels come back down and everyone feels better soon. Get rested. So glad your boss is so supportive and caring, that’s amazing! 🙏❤️
Will and Summer as a stepmom of a daughter who grew up with seizures, I can only imagine your terror in that moment. I watch my 21year old have a seizure after not having had one since she was 10. She was hospitalized many times as a baby. At one time the Dr s accused the mother of wanting attention after our daughter had another seizure. Her father was so mad . The Drs and nurses were awful to them during a very terrifying time. I am glad you have good people looking out for you and your family. Blessed be little Wilder thank mommy and Daddy for such good friends. Little Coral good job picking good friends!
Man you've had it rough lately, glad everything and one is doing better now though. Seizures are really scary to see esp when you dont know what to do, how to deal with it and not know whats causing it. Can only imagine the stress etc from all that on top of work, takin care of your animals and so on. Keep your head up and stay positive man 🙏 👍
Damn Will, so sorry to hear that y'all went through all that. Very glad to hear that everyone is ok now. I'll keep y'all in my prayers. Take care and I'll see y'all in the next one.
Great job parents! I am a grandma myself, so I have had children and grandchildren. There has not been anything anymore scary than the times something went crazy with the littles! The Texas Freeze of 2021 rates 2nd as my mom was on hospice and we were without electricity and water for 9 days. Thank goodness your mother-in-law is there to help, and help keep you both focused! Take care and God Bless! Keep that surfboard waxed as there will be many waves! I pray your baby boy stays seizure free!
bro this is the first time iam catching your channel and u got a new sub from me..god bless u and the family bro as i literally cant imagine having that happen to your kid especially after the stressfull week before.good job holding it all together man and being the man your family needed you to be....
Febrile seizures are horrible to witness and deal with…so is the delirium with kiddos in those situations and as you explain, the after effects. (They can be familial and it is not as well known but can happen in older kids and adults…first hand personal experience for me) Glad you got the care needed and had the support from so many!
Will your a true trooper dude, tough moments will always happen in this insane craziness we call life and because we are humans it effects us and hits us in ways that are just to much but you are amazing, your family is amazing and the animals you treat us with are amazing, keep your head up bro and keep on going, much love from Washington DC bro, big big fans!
Oh Will, I’m sooo sorry about all that’s gone wrong lately!! I’m sooo thankful your son is ok and your wife!! My God as I think most parents can relate that anything like that will scare the crap out of you and nothing compares!! I hope everyone recovers and gets some much needed rest!! Plus, FL has the WORLD medical drs on the planet! You can literally lose your medical license in EVERY state yet still be able to practice medicine in FL!!! Ok, y’all will be in my prayers and thanks for vid!! ❤❤❤
So very sorry to hear you all have had so many health issues. Such a scary time. Glad the family is on the mend now. I’ll continue to keep you in my thoughts and prayers. 🙏🏼❤️
I have been praying for your family ever since your post. Nothing is scarier than when your kids are super sick. Please know that I will continue to pray for you all. May God bless your family with huge blessings! Get some sleep!! Give everyone hugs from me please!!
Dang, I’m so sorry y’all got so sick and the poor babies. There is nothing worse as a parent then having your child sick. And that sick, is absolutely terrifying. I can’t imagine a seizure. My youngest son has pneumonia once. That’s the time he was so sick and unresponsive. I thought he was gonna die. That is definitely the most terrifying and horrifying thing any parent can go. Praise the Lord your family is feeling better and safe through alll the storms. Keeping y’all in my prayers.
Hi Will ! Oh my goodness , I am so glad to hear that Wilder is alright and you and your lovely family are feeling better! Lots of love and be blessed in Jesus' Mighty Name !❤❤❤
Glad to hear everyone seems to be on the mend. I know how scary it is when your child has any kind of sickness or injury. You feel so HELPLESS. I hit vision up on a recent Facebook post where they were showing off some of their stuff and also on Instagram!
Jeez dude, I can’t even imagine how you felt. I have two girls and one boy, and can’t imagine if that happened to one of them. I’m sure that you feel exactly the same way, but my kids lives are my life, basically; nothing else matters compared to them. Praying for you man. Hate to hear you’ve been through all of that.
❤❤❤ thank you for sharing your story and being so vulnerable. Im so sorry you went through that. So happy you have such a great support team around you. I have seizures and understand what comes with it. There are so many advancements in science and medicine now that can help ❤❤❤❤
dang Will, im sorry to hear these awful unfortunate events. thank god everybody is doing okay now and better. your a wonderful role model and i wish you and your family all the best, wishing for good fortunes and karma to come your way! god bless!
Praying for Wilder and your family... So glad Wilder is feeling better! Can't wait to see the new video's! You're missed when you don't post! Would love to see the tank on the whole wall... Would love to come to animalcom...
Oh my fucking God.... That's one of the most terrifying things I think I've ever heard. I have 2 little boys... They've had bumps and bruises but what yall went through.. is absolutely terrifying.
So glad everyone is ok . Seizures are scary . My kids never had one ( knock on wood) but one of my dogs did and it was scary as hell! Wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy . Much love to all of you and continued prayers for healing
I'm so sorry man. I hope he is ok now, and hopefully it will not become a common thing. No matter what anyone trys to say holding your baby boy and thinking he's not making it and your helpless to do anything to fix it is a feeling like nothing else. Once again I'm sorry your family had to experiance this. Also from experiance every time I have taking my elderly dad to the doc./Hospital they have either missdiagnose him, or just can't tell you any information. Later that day he had a stroke, and now has permanite eye damage witch ended up giving him permanite vission loss for the left side. It sucks that doctors can't do anything right but charge you thousands of dollars. Hope your situation gets better for your family brother.
First I would like to say God is good all the time. I am so glad Everyone is doing O.K. You my Man need to plan one day to do absolutely nothing. No work, No animals, No Vlog, and No Anything. You can't take care of anything until You take care of Yourself. Especially around venomous snakes and reptiles. I have three children. I thought the most difficult adjustment was going from one to two. One new born and a toddler. Thank God your daughter was alert enough to see that something was wrong with your son. Glad Your Wife is doing O.K. Tell Her to rest and drink lots of fluids and electrolytes. Babies can make You forget to take care of Yourself. When they eat. You eat. When they hydrate. You hydrate. When they nap. You nap. Remember Craziness can happen to Good People. Just a learning moment. Sounds like you two with a little help from Grandmother and Your Boss did just fine. Grandmother needs a Great Christmas Gift don't forget.
We women are strong our pain tolerance is very high I went through a kidney infection worked the whole time didnt show up for work I show up no matter why and my co worker called when ambulance got to me I was In my bed passed out almost most lost my kidney and was so dehydrated I was out like a light that’s when I realized importance of water and drinking even when I don’t want to and to go to the hospital when I don’t feel well
My friends brother has seizures all the time and i learned the first thing you need to do is use something to keep their mouth open enough to make sure they don't bite their tongue because they can bite it off if it pops out of their mouth. If it could happen again you should keep something he can bite on that will save his tongue but not break his teeth or keep some popsicle sticks around so you can hole it down
I left my first comment before seeing this video. My first response was just based off what I immediately read. Now that I saw the video 2 things. As someone who has seizures they are super scary for those watching. Especially when it’s your child. Let me explain why he’s lifeless after a seizure. When I have one I explain after as a “cloudy period”. Things don’t make sense in my head, I’m extremely tired almost to the point of passing out or even passing out completely. People talking to me make no sense and words form in my head but I can’t get them Out. It’s like my brain needs to reset after a seizure. It’s very scary for the people around me. And 2. As a parent there is nothing worse than seeing your child fighting for their life and being helpless to do anything for them. At one point my child was so sick they asked me for an advance directive and sitting in the icu begging her to fight left me scarred forever. You did everything you could. Proud of you dad.
Wow dude your 2 weeks like like an entire movie Yea if it ever happens again just know that after a seizure your body is completely exhausted. Sometimes people will want to try to stand up as soon as it’s over and they just don’t have the strength because every muscle in their body had been firing and flexing. I’m sure you know that now. Sending prayers my brother the craziest week I have ever Head of
I'm so sorry you and your family went through that. It's very scary, happened to my grandson. Same thing, temp spiked sent him into seizure, he was a year old. But it was the only one he had. He's 18 know. Thoughts to your family.
hi will, I'm an epileptic and have had seizures all my life so I know what you're talking about and I hope you get medication for it I use something called lamictal and have used Orfiril before but don't know if you have it in the US. but I hope everything will get better as I know from my own experience 😊
Oh my gosh, I don't know where to start! I'm praying for you and your family so hard. Your boss is a total legend. Tell him I said that. Just wondering, did you eat any fish in Vegas? I ate some fish awhile ago, and it tasted just fine. 12 hours later I was shooting bodily fluids from all orifices, and it didn't stop for 8 hours. For the next month I could barely look at food, never mind keep anything down. My doctor told me it was most likely Norovirus, and that it is EXTREMELY contagious, so I self quarantined for the next two weeks. I've had food poisoning before, but it's always been bacterial, and passed within 48 hours. I've never had a food borne virus, and honestly I thought Covid would be an improvement. I also have epilepsy, and after a seizure I'm as limp as an overcooked spaghetti noodle. I also can't form words properly, or use my hands well. My friends know that if I send a text that looks like "dhc, thsiehgt;zixhwt," then they need to get me help ASAP. On a happier note, you and Tyler raising your kids together is the most wholesome thing ever. I'd love to see more collab videos with you two.
sending healing prayers. I had to perform CPR on my friend’s child who had a seizure due to a high fever. In Australia, they offer free or low-cost first aid training to parents. I'm not sure if they do the same in America.
Damn Will. 13 years ago my son had one. After 9 noro Dr looked at his eeg results. They were confident it was random an he probably wouldn't have another. Which he didn't. But the helpless feeling is never forgotten.
OMG!!! Will, I had a almost the exact same experience with my son when he was 3. We drove to the hospital, which is about 20mins and whenever my son fell asleep I'd scream at my boyfriend to run the red lights. I threw my purse at the security and ran to the nursing station. I was a lunatic!!
After a seizure, you can also have what's called Todd's paralysis. Not to scare you, but it can happen. My daughter had this multiple times. If it does, just reassurance and support is all you can do. Your brain basically runs a marathon during, and if it's just spent, paralysis can and does happen. Lasting hours sometimes don't panic it goes away after rest. Good luck to your family, and I'm sorry you experienced this, and I'm glad you have support. We did not, and our daughter has severe epilepsy and we've been through hell.
Will, man I’m so happy everything worked out. You mentioned miracles just remember prayer 🙏 produce miracles and you have an ARMY praying 🙏 for you brother. Sorry to hear about the eggs 🥚 but next year bud Unfortthe other night I had an issue with my chickens. 🐔 🐓 I put them up at night in the chicken coup that is also inside a pen that is heavy chicken wire on all sides the roof the walls. Everything but the ground. My point is they are always super safe. The coup and pen at inside my yard which is completely fenced and safe. Unfortunately the other night a wind storm came through and blew my back gate open it broke the new heavy duty latch and it also blew the boulders I had as backing both sides of the gate I live in Colorado so boulders are plentiful. Long story short the gate was blown open. I had just Schreckes on them as I always do before bed about 2am and I usually get up abou t 7:30 or 8 and let them out to roam Free Range for the day. At 2am they were perfectly fine so I’m guessing it must have happed aroun 4am or so because I was up at 8am to go let them out for the day. Normally I can hear them all excited when they see me. This day I hear nothing, so I’m thinking they are laying. I get there and look down and all my chickens 🐓 are completely massacred. It was so disturbing that I didn’t even compute it at first. I went to go grab their water as usual to refill. Then it hits me on lime wHAT IN THE HELL MAN this was not a normal animal kill it was a massacre. Blood 🩸 and feathers everywhere so I took video and pictures to document so I could have it for me but also to report it to the game wardens because we think it was coyotes coming down from the mountains 🏔️. So obviously if the gate had not gotten blown open this would have never happened the coyotes would have just looked for an easier meal. I had never seen anything like that they just ate all the middles out of every ck Gucken and left all the legs , wings, and heads a few of them they had eggs ready to be laid that day and they just left the egg it was just crazy because it looked so violent not a normal kill Anyways thanks for listening I have had em for 3 years with no issues it was just a completely random theme when certain things lined up so they could gain access Oh and that’s the other crazy thing. The chicken coupe was still locked and door 🚪 closed they must have slipped through the bottom after snapping off the metal ties keeping the fence attached Just nuts. Sorry for the long winded story
If this helps with your sanity, both the diagnosis of “bronchitis” and “virus” are technically correct. Bronchitis means inflammation of the bronchi (larger airways in the lungs). It can be caused by a bacteria OR a virus but is most commonly caused by a virus. In all humans, it’s very hard to distinguish between a bacterial infection and a viral infection. If your kid has been sick for a couple days and has a persistent fever and you think it could be bacterial, it’s best to give an antibiotic just in case to cover. You shouldn’t be given antibiotics constantly but in certain circumstances it’s appropriate and based on clinical judgement. I probably would have done the same thing. In an ER or some urgent care clinics, you can get a blood test and check a respiratory viral panel, a blood count, and get a chest X-ray and the results will be back within an hour or two so you have a lot more information about wether it’s likely bacterial or viral and before the patient leaves, you have a good idea. Based on that you would say viral (usually doesn’t require antibiotics UNLESS they get a bacterial infection on top of the viral infection) or bacterial (needs antibiotics). In an outpatient clinic, it would take days to get those results back and if there’s any chance it’s bacterial you treat for bacterial to be safe. And as if that wasn’t complicated enough, walking pneumonia can be bacterial or viral. Usually it’s bacterial and requires an antibiotic but it can be viral (most commonly RSV, flu a/b, or parainfluenza virus-doesn’t require an antibiotic). Pneumonia is just an infection (viral or bacterial) in the air sacs (further down from the airways [bronchitis]) and pneumonia usually shows up on an X-ray whereas bronchitis usually doesn’t. Walking pneumonia is just an infection in the air sacs in the lungs that is mild enough that you are still able to walk around with it. Many times, bronchitis develops into walking pneumonia but the only way to distinguish them is with an X-ray. A lot of doctors will use “bronchitis” the lungs sound normal or there is a mild wheeze when they listen with the stethoscope and “pneumonia” when it sounds like a crinkling wrapper but the typical pneumonia sound can occur when you have bronchitis and the patient hasn’t coughed to clear the airway. I have my patients cough if I hear it (and they can follow that instruction) and then listen again and if it goes away I feel better. I could go into a lot more detail but I already dug deeper than I should have. Moral of the story is, your doctors were all correct they just have different ways of approaching treatment. Also, pediatricians and outpatient doctors are less likely to call something a fever and send you home because you aren’t scheduled for follow up and if it’s bacterial and you don’t treat cuz you think it’s viral, it can move and make big issues in a short period of time. ER doctors will tell you “it’s viral, drink fluids, Tylenol/motrin, rest, follow up with pediatrician” because they KNOW if it doesn’t get better or gets worse and becomes viral, you have an outpatient doctor Finally, I know how common febrile seizures are and I know that they tend to have no long term side effects and may never happen again. THEY ARE STILL TERRIFYING. if you weren’t horrified I would be surprised. You’re a good parent.
Something is Liar happened with my daughter when she was a baby. Instead of waiting for the ambulance, we drove to the hospital because it was 7 minutes to the hospital at normal speeds. Her temp was 106! She had started seizing. My husband drove while I held her in my lap in the front seat. I had her diaper bag with LEDs in it. I gave her fever-reducing meds and started pulling all of her clothes except her diaper to help cool her down. We got to the hospital stopped at the doors and I ran in with her and screamed I need a doctor now! My daughter is running a temp of 106 and has seized. They ran to me and took her and we went right back. The doctor said that my quick thinking with the meds and taking her clothes off had saved her brain from being damaged. She's 20 years old now and hasn't seized since nor has she had any problems from it. I'll keep Wilder in my prayers. Also, after a seizure they are prone to seize again for the first few days afterwards. I have a now-grown nephew that used to stay with me often they has epilepsy.
Sounds like covid man, the first time I came to the States I got Covid, my temperature was off the roof and I don’t remember anything from the first week I had it, I was sick for a whole month and it took me another half to recover from it. Fever, coughing, delirious, they literally had to help me bathe with cold water. Being sick like that just sucks, but seeing it happen to our kids is one of the most horrible things in life. Wishing nothing but the best and a fast recovery for you and the family
Not uncommon for anybody including a child to be disoriented/sleepy after a seizure. Hoping that y'all get with a pediatric Neurologist. Seizures can be induced by high temperature/fever. Just know that some kids grow out of it... In the meantime provided that the seizures continue a Neurologist might put him on a seizure medication. And yes seizures are scary! My kiddo never outgrew his seizures...
I went through something similar with my son also ....he had a seizure because of the fever... It's soo scary I know how you felt.... Seems like ambulance takes forever also
Will, know that some inhalers can cause seizures as a bad side effect, especially in higher doses, make sure to check the documentation on the inhaler he used!

You definitely need some rest and relaxation brother. It’s definitely showing you’re physically exhausted. Stay blessed homie 🤙
My 9 yr old started having seizures at 3. I lived so much of this. Hope he’s ok. Scary times but kids are so resilient.
My heart goes out to you!! My daughter has severe epilepsy and has been on a ventilator and crashed multiple times. I get that helpless feeling when you can't stop it. You're in our thoughts and prayers.

Oh my fucking God.... That's one of the most terrifying things I think I've ever heard. I have 2 little boys... They've had bumps and bruises but what yall went through.. is absolutely terrifying.
I am so sorry to hear that I pray for your son and family I love your show keep doing what you're doing I hope to see all your mammals again❤
God bless your little boy and family
Oh, man. As a father myself this hit extra hard obviously. Glad everyone´s ok. 🙏
So glad everyone is ok . Seizures are scary . My kids never had one ( knock on wood) but one of my dogs did and it was scary as hell! Wouldn’t wish on my worst enemy . Much love to all of you and continued prayers for healing
Prayers to you and the family
Hey what's up my guy 👍🏽 I miss you uploading, i just love your channel ❣️
That's the problem with slab built houses. Been there down that! 😢
Yup our house did tht we repipped ours not gonna go through tht again.
My oldest had this happen. It was absolutely horrible! Some of the scariest times of my life! I don't wish it on anyone. Glad everything is ok man!
I comund you for being a real man and taking care of your famly bless your famly
Wow crazy will Hope things get better soon .. prayers for the family ..
Glad things seem to be getting back to normal.
Sending love and prayers to you and your family
Woah this story took so many twists and turns!!
Praying for you and your family
We women are strong our pain tolerance is very high I went through a kidney infection worked the whole time didnt show up for work I show up no matter why and my co worker called when ambulance got to me I was In my bed passed out almost most lost my kidney and was so dehydrated I was out like a light that’s when I realized importance of water and drinking even when I don’t want to and to go to the hospital when I don’t feel well
Damn brother I am so sorry! Glad he is doing better
My friends brother has seizures all the time and i learned the first thing you need to do is use something to keep their mouth open enough to make sure they don't bite their tongue because they can bite it off if it pops out of their mouth. If it could happen again you should keep something he can bite on that will save his tongue but not break his teeth or keep some popsicle sticks around so you can hole it down
Oh honey!!! Glad all is well!!!
People talking to me make no sense and words form in my head but I can’t get them
Out.
I hope your son is doing amazing now family over everything
Wow dude your 2 weeks like like an entire movie
Yea if it ever happens again just know that after a seizure your body is completely exhausted.
I thought for sure it was going to be a bite story so I watched all the snakes like a hawk
See ya at animalcon. Be there Thursday night!
Sorry to hear about the eggs 🥚 but next year bud
Unfortthe other night I had an issue with my chickens. I had never seen anything like that they just ate all the middles out of every ck
Gucken and left all the legs , wings, and heads a few of them they had eggs ready to be laid that day and they just left the egg it was just crazy because it looked so violent not a normal kill
Anyways thanks for listening I have had em for 3 years with no issues it was just a completely random theme when certain things lined up so they could gain access
Oh and that’s the other crazy thing. The chicken coupe was still locked and door 🚪 closed they must have slipped through the bottom after snapping off the metal ties keeping the fence attached Just nuts. Sorry for the long winded story
I'm saying a prayer for you guys.
😢Prayers for you and your beautiful family ❤. In Jesus name may you all be protected and kept healthy and happy and safe always, Amen 🙏 ❤️
Febrile seizures are scary if you don't realize they are quite common in little kids with a fever.
Love watching your videos. ❤❤❤
Awesome content
It's a shame not all fathers are like you.
Omg so sorry you’s went thru this, wot a nitemare. Xx
ER doctors will tell you “it’s viral, drink fluids, Tylenol/motrin, rest, follow up with pediatrician” because they KNOW if it doesn’t get better or gets worse and becomes viral, you have an outpatient doctor
Finally, I know how common febrile seizures are and I know that they tend to have no long term side effects and may never happen again. THEY ARE STILL TERRIFYING. if you weren’t horrified I would be surprised. You’re a good parent.
Something is
Liar happened with my daughter when she was a baby.
You have a beautiful son.
Sorry about the fam health issues, but are three large snakes in a small enclosure optimal? Asking about the rattlesnakes.
Love your shirt wild thing
