i love my EM...jusst put super record 12 speed on it....rim bakes and no batteries for me...but love the big gearing

Totally agree. I ride two vintage bikes, a '93 Bridgestone RB-1 and an '86 Schwinn Paramount. The hell with electronic shifting, disc brakes, internal cable routing, carbon everything and all the other bells and whistles and so-called latest and greatest. I like the look and feel of lugged steel. Not retro for retro's sake. Retro because for me, it feels better.
