- After determining the value of the entire mines in another idea, I thought it would be fun to try the value of the entire map. Both at the beginning of the game and again on year 173. The map is more valuable than I thought.. Stardew Valley gameplay with my commentary as always!

The reason why that artifact spot had a 0% chance of giving you a dinosaur egg is because it wasn’t near Robin’s house. The artifact spot has to be near Robin’s house for even a small chance of getting the dinosaur egg.

I just thought about how you could soft lock the game. All you would need to do is put all your tools in a chest outside your house and plant trees in front of your door. Sleep for a few weeks and it's soft locked.

I tried, if you get trapped between the train and the tunnel, you die, and if not, you take damage as well

We watched and laughed as Kira got stuck and run over slowly by the entire train during one of her streams, it was amusing.
This was an interesting idea. I like it. And the tractor is like, super satisfying to watch do its thing. :)

I mean with enough mixed seeds you can substitute buying them. Add a Seedmaker and you are fine.
If we're talking doing the first year without buying anything then seed makers won't be an option. They require a farming level of 9 to craft, which isn't happening if you're not buying seeds, and the one you can get from the bundle requires a red cabbage among other things, so the one seed maker you could get would require a lot of luck with the travelling merchant. If we're talking any other year then the answer varies extremely based on what you're allowed to do going into it.
+the_rabidsquirel though it also depends what we count as buying. Opening geodes or trading in artifacts. What about high friendship levels to get presents. And fishing and mining also yields money.

Can you use the no boundaries mod to talk with marlon and gunther ? Because if you hover your mouse on them, a chat bobble pops out but you cant reach them.

Can relate. In both of my save files (one on year 3, one nearing end of year 2) I have never gotten a meteorite, and that sucks.
RainbowSparkles29 it does. Even tho i have an excess of iridium (and a lack of gold and iron) it still would be nice to see one here and there. Mix it up. As long as it doesnt break anything important xD
I got a meteor right outside my cave in the first few days of ever playing. No later than day 10, I think. I just figured it was a scheduled event and didn't realize it was special for a long time... Now I'm almost to year 4 and no more meteors to be found.
Two meteors and 4 ancient seeds in my first year. :) Might get more. Still only mid fall.
In my game every time I got a geode it would say ‘you found a stone’ so it’s weird seeing the right term

Because Dino Egg can only be found in the Mountain area just like the Ancient seed can only be found in the Mountains and Forest (always treasure chests too)
or maybe because everything you get from that spot would go in the water???

I do still recommend the Fast Animations mod.
it makes geodes processing pretty much instant, even with a good amount of geodes.
there's some satisfaction to seeing all of them go in a blink.
Hoeing in winter is really useful to find winter roots, snow yam etc.

u should really REALLY try chest anywhere mod and instant geodes so u can put stuff in the bin without needing to go back and forth and instant geodes to skip the geodes animation (it just speeds it up alot)

I found a Dino egg in a chest from fishing in the secret woods (I was probably in year 2 or 3). Then the next day I dug up an artifact spot in the mountains and found another Dino egg lol

Also, you made an oversight. On the late game farm, you could’ve built a silo to collect hay! Not that valuable, but it’s worth something!
Hay is worth nothing in Stardew Valley.
Hay is worth nothing when you sell it, but it's 10g a piece if you buy it.

Can i ask where did you guys get thet car thing?
I usually aim for just under $1k on my first day (without mods).
Just zoom out the screen to 75% and you can run around the whole map collecting all the forage plants (~10ish regulars for selling + ~10 spring onion for eating of you're lucky).
If your quick you can get em all in time to sell before 5pm so you can buy your first batch of seeds. 15 Parsnips, ~16 Beans, and ~10 Wild Seeds planted on the first day.

When you remove the log, you go up and you get *more* hardwood!!!
Get the chests everywhere mod. You can add stuff to your chest without actually having to go to the chest itself. It's a keystroke to access the chests from anywhere, including the mines. Then you can easily add stuff to your bin.

dino eggs spawn in the mountains including the quarry excluding the railroad and can be foraged in the prehistoric levels of skull caverns
I foun d a dinosaur egg within two years from just hoeing worms. I hoe worms every time and I hoed at Linus's tent.

Theory: Stardew valley is your after life. Why? Because, when your grandpa died you got depressed and considered going to the farm but on the way to pelican town your bus crashed and you died. Stardew valley is your after life, personal heaven, heaven, whatever you call it. That’s why you can “live forever”.
Do you know that there is a "Access all chests from everywhere" mod?? It lets you access all your chests from everywhere just like your backpack. Could be helpful to have for videos like this one

hey DF did you ever think of maybe for geodes picking any item of mid value not the highest or lowest but as close the the middle as you can and just spawning in those and counting those as broken geodes?

Dinosaur egg can’t soawn there because they only spawn in the northern most part of the map (Near Robins Carpenter shop). I know nobody will see this, but if you do I hope you have a very nice day!

Truth actually u cant cuz u have to skip the days for the events to take place ye u could probably just set it to year 5000 straight away but the events that would have happened in that year wouldn't be there if u cheated for it cuz if u make it skip straight away to that year it just does the events from that day not the other days in the 5000 years
