Simply fantastic. I am learning so much from these streams. I have been intimidated by texturing but mixer makes the process so easy and creative while still giving me control. I can't get enough of these streams. Keep it up!
Since the presenters were wondering what the story behind the image at 1:16:16 is, it is most probably inspired from Dark Souls and the concept of loss of humanity.
Thanks for the great stream!
Retrieve this sword I swear you'll hear boss battle music
Good job Chris, very informative video, nicely presented.
Love it, great stream!
Snake texture is sick bro good job. 34:40
Amazing
I'm into minute 13 and loving it! A quick question, how did you put the curvature mask for each ridge. I mean, I expected the mask to apply the curvature homogeneously to the whole cylinder, and somehow is just on the ridges ( minute 12:42). Thanks in advanced!!
Seemingly in every video, you at least once go over the art fundamental side of things, braking procedurality, varation, silhouettes via positive shapes etc. You can't get enough credits for that. It really feels like more than just software presentation.
create a library option in mixer for users to share stuff...like substance share....not to be confused with source which isnt users free sharing work...2cts great show thanks! shared in mixer or bridge, not everyone wants to be on facebook.
but how did you get all those masks? what software are you using to bake those so you can use them inside mixer?
Adobe Kuler....long time ago...that exists!

Holy shit the matrix @ 2:53
Danke
Can there be a tutorial for archviz materials Please.
Can you hand paint specific spots instead of painting the entire object with procedural stuff?
I think you can by creating a paint layer and masking, just like you would for a 2d texture.
Absolutely you can paint 👍
Blade Runner tiles.
