If i remember correctly you can give lianonn's brandy to that dwarf in Greyfell and he wont be happy about that ;D. Also if you dont have a mask of belial during the conversation with Hokan, the cutscene will be slightly diffrent.
I also heard that if the undead will take the pass during battle for Stonewell Castle then Order will send you reinfrocments from Greyfell, but i have never seen that
Udwins pathetic defeat is a pretty good showcase of why berserk is insane. Enemies recoil if they get hit with a strong move so as long as you keep hitting, you can completely prevent them from acting that way. For niche dialog. If you talk to Sentos the trader in the Wildland pass while his thugs are attacking you. He'll say "I wish for a pleasant death". After you kill the thugs he has different dialog. It has a voice line too but it can be difficult to hear as getting hit by enemies interrupts conversations. There are multiple ways to get the quest for the spidersilk robe started, you can show the spider master's silk to Calina in the Wildland Pass, or show the dark spider silk to Miria in the Southern Windwalls. Both start the quest and redirect you to Tanara in Greyfell. You can also just skip this step and directly show the dark silk to Tanara. It's 3 different paths to start the same quest, also the spider master silk becomes useless along the line.
That's why fighters are far superior to warriors. Give 2 fast weapons and the enemies won't be able to land a single hit. Besides, the DPS is also higher
@@patrickfrei9322 I really have not felt this at all, I can't say I have tried light combat much but heavy combat seems to do so much more damage than light combat arts, strength matters much more for damage than dexterity and I have had much more success with 1 2-handed weapon compared to 2 1-handers. Albeit slow, the recoiling effect still gives enough time to chain hit foes with heavy weapons, often not even using berserk.
@@condoslime776 i also have a higher strength than dexterity when going for light combat. Not sure if it's the latest version or a mod that gives me the exact damage and attack speed but mine attacks twice per second, where heavy combat avas attack less than once per second. Given that I increase the heavy combat attributes by 1.5 per level (taking turns which one gegs 1 and which one gets 2) and the light combats by 1, my strength is really high. In 6 seconds, my avatar attacks 12 times, a warrior abt 5 times. Not only do I prevent my victim from attacking me, I doubt your dps is as good as mine, because your damage rating is not 12/5 = 2.4 times greater than mine. But even if it were, they tend to miss a lot! Should mine miss, it doesn't matter that much, but for yours, it means theres like 2.4 seconds between two attacks. A time span in which my ava has hit the opponent almost 5 times. This greatly affects the DPS. It took me quite a while to do the whole math, I used to go for warriors als the time but unless you "waste" some of the attributes points, they just tend to miss very often.
@@patrickfrei9322 Hit rate is actually very dependant on level difference. Even with low dexterity, if the enemy is much lower level (which regular enemies tend to be) your hit rate is actually very high. I do tend to go for some dexterity when playing heavy combat though, 2 hits/s seems about right for fast light weapons, 0.8-1 hit/s for heavy weapons also seems about average. During late phoenix campaign, it isn't unusual for damage to get so high that enemies die in 2 or 3 hits without any buffs, Damage/hit varies around 220-280 at that point when using the rather OP Hirinstaff.
@@condoslime776 hmm. Will have to try the bit about the levels. And I currently don't have a light combat avatar in SoTP but maybe I'll remember our conversation and we can compare the numbers! Thanks for your insights, always great to talk to a fellow SF fan 😄
Did you know that Sartarius has new dialogues every time when you move forward in the main quest? I've figured it out on my last playthrough. I'm happy to see that SpellForce is not a dead game and some people is still playing it, keep going! 🙂
Funny enough, I beat this map in Revisited mod last night Hoh, it's a slog! A bit fun, but lots of elite enemies. REally feels like Brannigan throws everything at you in it. Wildland Pass is always a fun map - also the Spider Master is a creep. He allegedly has a tragic background, but that's according to him. So yeah. Aside from taht, Skye has a good track. Wish it was used more in the game though, you don't realy get to hear it much.
After Rohen’s death you can return to master Swansong (only if had not brought the news to Sartarius first) he would have a new dialog. Darius if u have the convocation book and the book of Sin Tar Gar. And yeah, Sartarius has the new dialogues after almost all main events during the campaign That’s all I remember
In Shadow of the Phoenix i had a level 50 character strength based with two handed weapon and i got killed many times by the Lesser Soul Forge in the map before the Gorge

Woah, you can get a Malachite from the merchant in Eloni?! wow
Is there a canon strength for a lvl. 50 char? like it's as strong as a circle mage or fial darg?

@@Wormic Not even Riddengard the mage from Dragon Storm can close to a Circle Mage
And Riddengard was crazy strong

I'm curious now, what is the translation for the Dawn Knight in front of the portal?
You mean Rohen bodyguard
I don't know why but I hate this map from all of maps in Spellforce 1
