Hardcrete 310: How to Create Slope to Drain for Bathrooms

Bathroom floor preparation and floor design installation is tricky. Aside from the waterproofing aspect, you also have to deal with the preparation of the concrete floor elevation or slope.
Your waterproofing system is not always enough.
Sometimes, you need to correct the elevation or slope of the bathroom or shower floor before the bathroom floor tile installation or floor coating application. The bathroom or shower floor should be sloped into the direction of the drain. You have to consider the slope or elevation of your bathroom floor area to prevent water from accumulating on the surface, which could damage the waterproofing system installed on your bathroom floor.
You have to consider the depth of the bathroom floor that needs correcting. If the bathroom or shower floor requires a minimum thickness of 10mm, a sand-cement mix is not recommended because it cannot meet the required compressive strength for such situations. It will just delaminate over a short period of time.
With this, we recommend using a repair mortar that can achieve up to 3500 PSI at a minimum thickness of 10mm. This is more ideal when creating a slope for your bathroom floor compared to using sand-cement mix or the thick bed method.

Hi. Thank you for your inquiry. Yes, you can use Hardcrete 310 in one pouring for 30mm thickness. You will need 25 bags of Hardcrete 310 at 10sqm area for 30mm thickness and 1 gallon of Buildrite Cement Grip.
