    The thing with Canadian border agents is that they are usually very friendly, but if you pay attention you can see that there is a method behind it. They are catching more flies with honey than with vinegar.

    I went to British Columbia, for the day, several years ago. The Canadians, including the border agents, were the nicest people I had ever encountered. Coming back across the border to my own Country was the worst, rudest and most negative experience! I had never been treated with such disrespect by another person. Glad you got to experience Canada and the awesome people. Hope you had a pleasant experience crossing back over!

    It’s called a flashing green light or advanced green, you can turn left go straight thru or turn right…. Opposing traffic has a red light

  • @sarakearley
    @sarakearley 2 месяца назад +1

    I enjoyed your video.
    Blinking green is different in different parts of Canada, in Eastern Canada it mean that you have right of way for wherever the light is places in the intersection. Western Canada - Mainly BC - the blinking green means they will have to stop because a pedestrian indicated they want to walk across the street (this is yellow blinking lights in the rest of Canada).
    The double red lights is a mostly Quebec thing it is to reduce the potential accidents by ensuring that if one light it out it is still visible. Also in Quebec you can turn right on red lighting unless it is directed otherwise except Montreal where you can never turn right on a red - ever.
    The TicTacs were super cute.

    It's not a hat, it's a toque, eh. And that's was the smallest poutine I've ever seen. Was that made for ants? Lol

      That was a great video. I think we would have given up on hiking that bridge. And we loved your hats at the boarder. You were fortunate to have nice guys at the border. Some of them don’t like jokers. Next time make poutine your dinner! A BIG plate. Thanks for the laughs. Be safe C&D.

    Hi, I happen to come across your videos traveled into Baja/Mexico, a few days ago, and I started watching your videos ever since… that bridge looks like the same bridge. They use on the Virgin River TV series. I just realized that cannot be because I think they film Virgin River in Vancouver, Canada…

    Hi Hilary and Bob,
    I watch you all your video’s, stoked to see you in Canada, hoping to get there in the spring. I have a question, I’m
    Just getting into vlogging, and I was wondering what kind of dash cam holders do you use?

    • @Vancaskeys
      @Vancaskeys  2 месяца назад +1

      Hi Holly! We linked everything in our Amazon account if that helps. For dash cam we use a go pro and the go pro holder.

    You technically smuggled the eggs back into the US since the Canada guard told you to declare them. But, it is a silly law. So… 🤷🏼‍♀️
    I must admit I’d never heard of Magog. What a weird name! Looks beautiful there. 🍁
