The thing with Canadian border agents is that they are usually very friendly, but if you pay attention you can see that there is a method behind it. They are catching more flies with honey than with vinegar.
I went to British Columbia, for the day, several years ago. The Canadians, including the border agents, were the nicest people I had ever encountered. Coming back across the border to my own Country was the worst, rudest and most negative experience! I had never been treated with such disrespect by another person. Glad you got to experience Canada and the awesome people. Hope you had a pleasant experience crossing back over!
I love that you both have so much fun together! We live near the border in Niagara falls and cross over often! We have beautiful gardens to visit and enjoy trips to Toronto!
I was so excited for you when you said you were trying poutine for the first time!!! And you chose the right place to try it in - Quebec has the best poutine! Gotta have some squeaky curds! Great video!
No failure. You either win or you learn. What a fun adventure. We love Tim horton's the cheese croissant is so good! Cool bridge. We would love that!oh poutine is the most delicious thing going for Canada
Hey Hillary and Bob! You turned the fun meter up to 10/10 on this one! Great adventure! I live for spontaneous side trips like your park hike on my trips. The happy hat moments brought a huge smile and laughter. 😅😊 🇨🇦 This is just what I needed while doing re-entry and jetlag after getting in late from Italy last night. Thank you!! ❤🙏👍🏼 You guys are the best!
I haven't eaten a doughnut in years. I would be bouncing off the walls with the sugar rush...haha. 🙂 It was wonderful laughing with you both seeing you in your new hats. After a rough day of work, this time spent watching your day in Canada was a huge stress reliever. Thank you and praying for your safety while traveling.
Ya guys are so adorable! 🥰 Love the video and especially the part with the hats!!! Ya had me laughing so hard I had tears in my eyes😂 Safe travels see ya on your next video 😊
Well it wouldn’t be a Vancaskey video without high jinx and mayhem along with coffee and donuts! 😂❤ THE HATS. 🤣 Wow Canada is stunning! 🇨🇦🍁😊 We wanna go! 🚐🥰
Mr. Lemon again of course! Hope it’s an easy fix? Fun video and the hats!! Bob reminded me Ralphie in A Christmas story!🤣🤣🤣 One day in Canada and you guys went full on tourists! 🤣🤣
I was watching on my iPad and when Bob held up the Crueller I could have grabbed it out the screen! I love those. I just got Poutine gravy delivered from Amazon and bought the cheese curds yesterday. I'm making Poutine tomorrow for lunch! I live in Cleveland. I would have NEVER walked that suspension bridge. Never ever. I am so afraid of heights. You guys are so funny and Bob's hat... the first thing that popped into my head was Pippi Longstocking 😂!
@@Vancaskeys A Canadian X follower of mine suggested "St Hubert Poutine Gravy Mix" if I didn't want to make the gravy from scratch. He said that's the best brand if you want to try it at home. I was surprised to find the cheese curds at my grocer.
I enjoyed your video. Blinking green is different in different parts of Canada, in Eastern Canada it mean that you have right of way for wherever the light is places in the intersection. Western Canada - Mainly BC - the blinking green means they will have to stop because a pedestrian indicated they want to walk across the street (this is yellow blinking lights in the rest of Canada). The double red lights is a mostly Quebec thing it is to reduce the potential accidents by ensuring that if one light it out it is still visible. Also in Quebec you can turn right on red lighting unless it is directed otherwise except Montreal where you can never turn right on a red - ever. The TicTacs were super cute.
2023 20k had a leak in the hose that comes from the wall into the toilet. It was bad but we have a rear bath. We have warranty so had it replaced. It’s in between the walls of the toilet.
@ we filled up the gray tank in the middle of the night with all the water running, and it overflowed the shower lip, started running down the hallway of the kitchen and by the bed. What a mess in the middle of the night good luck.
Blinking you have the right away to turn left. Double red are for color blinds. I live in Québec about an hour from where you were! If I knew that!! If you are coming back, we would take you around, we have a solis we could to a Vanlife Québec tour! 😊
New subscribers here. Awesome adventure! We relived some of our travels through Quebec earlier this year watching this video! Magog is one of our favourite areas. And we enjoyed a few pints in that same brewery. 😊 And like yourselves, at some point next summer, we will be returning to the Coaticook area to camp for a week or so. So much to discover.
Blinking green means ok to turn left. Green arrows same, safe to turn in that arrow direction. Can’t always turn left at all intersections, some with the blinking and arrows , must follow and have priority. Also turning right on red used to be prohibited but now allowed except in Montreal.
Hey, if you are heading back to Arizona through the Lynden Border and need a place to stay, look up Oostema Farmstead in Lynden Wa. Hey guys. Blinking green gives you the right of way to go where ever, all other traffic has red.
Thanks for the tip! We will keep that in mind for next time.
Quebec road rules are slightly different. You can't turn right on a red, for example. Whereas in Ontario you can.

Cruller's are the best. Your sprinkles matched your hat. Take off to da great white north ey! Go Canada ya!

You probably already know this, but I'd keep the pump off and the lines unpressurized between stops. Best wishes finding the leak.
Yes. Realized this is what we needed to do a little to late 😂
A lot of places in New England still have street sweepers. Cool!!
Love them!
