its weird, but it seems like something happens when she starts singing. its like a subtle rush of energy that washes over you. it feels similar to that moment when you realize the drugs have just started working, when everything around you speeds up.... just without drugs. anyhow, it probably sounds stupid, but it seems like that energy is actually coming from her.... captivating.

About this video: I don't think this is necessarily the dance type music..more of a stand mesmerized/hypnotized due to its odd ethereal type sound. good stuff, not everything needs rump shaking to be appreciated. Not to say you can't dance to it..just its not required to "get it".

I think the main reason this performance is different from the others is because she usually uses a roland sp-404 sampler and the sampler she is using in this video is different. I'm not sure what it is but it definitely is not a roland. That explains why she was having a hard time keeping the beat in sync.
Imho, the main problem is the soundmix. The voice is too loud and "clear" and lacks reverb. At the same time the drums and synths sounded way too soft. I could hear the guy on the last row scratch his balls when there was no vocal sound.
