@@ffjsb When I was a kid and Arizona was a Republican state they would tell you to drive more safe if you got pulled over drunk. 11k people a year die from drunk drivers, 100k per year die from drugs (hand out needles in democrat cities). The hysteria over drinking and driving is for state revenue from fines ($), demanded AA classes ($), breathalyzers in cars ($), money to the motor vehicle department ($). The sheep cry foul.

Umm she is a kid if she just got her new car most likely new licence too, who would you call to pick you up in an emergency? Has to be someone you trust, and she will probably not even want to drive for six months again, believe me I totalled a car once because I was tired and decided I'd push on to my destination, loe and behold I still remember the panic of getting out of the car, but since then it taught me to manage my anxiety, nothing much scares me anymore, threaten my life and I'll laugh in your face

So you've never stuffed up big time before, boy you must be a perfect little boy living in a bubble, I totaled a car once, wasn't drunk just tired after driving long distance, you just accept the penalty, mine was if I made any mistake for 2 years it was no licence and I would have to go through the learner phase again, don't judge people just help the recover, banning them from the road for awhile is one way, after crashing I didn't even want to drive for about 6 month so before I worked up the courage again

Everybody please stay OFF YOUR PHONE while you are driving. In most states it’s illegal to use your phone while driving. Most people can’t drive even if they aren’t on a phone much less looking at a phone while you’re trying to drive. I think there should be stiff penalties if you’re caught driving and using your phone just like drunk driving. Mandatory sentencing for driving while on a phone because I think that it is worse than drunk driving!!!!
What was her breathalyzer result? She could have brain injury. If confirmed by blood alcohol then it’s her fault but she probably still has brain injury.

They really should start REQUIRING by law a breathalyzer test at the scene. The time it takes to get back to the station could be the difference between being over the legal limit or not.
