Brilliant Daniel love it when Michael o’dononvan is on the show always good fun, what a fantastic collection of lorries too love the bull nosed scania can’t beat a v8
Michael O Donovan and Daniel are the new, Ant & Dec of the haulage business. I do feel his cameo roles need to become a more permanent feature. There's a respect between you both that is rarely seen in business...Keep up the great work
@@markoneill8188 I agree, you look in the direction you want to go, you look up to people who are doing well you will go in that direction, you look down on people you'll go down!
People like O'Donnovan are people you need in life! My das used to own a body shop in a truck stop in Birmingham (Tysley) and the Irish folk who owned it were the nicest people ever! The lorries they had lying around the yard were amazing
Thats is business done right! O'donovan welcoming you into his yard, to show off his kit, to arguably a competitor is incredible. No bad blood, nothing but love what an inspiration of how you do things.
I finished binge watching your weekly episodes last week. And now the HARD PART is to wait for 6 days for weekly videos!!! It's like going from 100 to 10 km/hr suddenly. I am thinking of re-watching from episode 1 😇
Always love watching Michael O'donovan on Ashville, hes a natural on camera, always makes me smile when you guys interact. I should do more with him, maybe get involved in filming his truck restorations.
I’m just setting up with a grab lorry and some mini diggers and dumpers Iv been thinking about it for a few years now and I’m finally doing it, You have been inspiration and helped me take the plunge
Great to see you and Michael always amazing content. Can you get him on more often? Your videos are probably the only ones I don't mind watching adverts on due to the quality and entertainment you provide!!!
Fantastic video, another week in the life of Daniel!! Business is going well. Extremely interesting historic trucks , Michael has up there !!! Love to see more ashville staff on the weekly videos?? Till the next one, take care.
The O'donavan chap is a great mentor to have around for Daniel. To think they're in the same industry but still friends says alot about both those blokes
loved seeing Michaels collection, its great to see them keeping the history alive and great to see that a fellow west Cork man did well for himself in London :)
When I worked on the Northern Outfall Sewer bridge refurbishment in 1963 at West Ham for the civil engineers Chas Brand and sons, I drove a 15 cwt Ford Thames van collecting store etc. Also drove the Fort Thames Trader 3 ton flat bed also picking up store and most important coke as it was a really bad winter. The Victoria Line muck away contractor was Hall's & Co, they ran a brand new fleet of 6 wheeler Guy Warriors with 11 cu yd. ali bodies. So your vid has brought back memories. thanks
I have been watching weekly since the begging. I have scheduled time into my life to watch weekly. I would strongly recommend considering at least a biweekly of highlights.
Brilliant Daniel, you definately need a show truck 🚚 I really don't know how you do everything you do and still keep on top of your game, but you have an amazing team behind you
Another great Ashville adventure video. Seems like Flo' is fast becoming indispensable to the family. Good to hear that you may be attending Peterborough Truckfest next weekend with Micheal O'Donavan and his vintage trucks. I'll be there on Saturday so I'm looking forward to hopefully meeting you all there. Happy days!
Dan the man, never compromise/disappoints on quality, detail, excellence 👏 . Such an inspiration for making sure today's work is done today to start all over, ready and prepared for a brand new day. O'Donovan's collection, massive respect for industry leaders.. The next episode seems to long a wait now.... 😃
A Thames Trader was one of my dads lorries with fabulous livery. Navy with red and gold lettering. He touched up the lettering every weekend. Bedfords before that when my grandad started the haulage.Initially they had horses for chipcarts and fruit and vegetable carts in the same blue with red and gold lettering. The chipcart is in a museum. Loved your visit❤️
9:24 nonononono. The only fabric that should be in a home cinema is dark and matt. Every bit of reflection should be minimised to make the picture quality better. The best HCs are completely dark covered with cloth like adamantium audio dark acoustic.
Donovan's yard is immaculate as are the trucks, always clean. I used to work for Aggregate Industries (I know the West Drayton site) and Derek Casey & David Barrett at London Concrete always ran very tidy sites and mixers, great to see.
That bull nosed heavy hauler is custom built. Started off as an IVECO ON+ AS440X57TX/P Stralis X-WAY. Converted using official IVECO parts to a Strator 6x4, by Dutch IVECO dealer group CFG (Charles Feijts Group), with a 12.9L CURSOR13 engine pushing out 570BHP and operated by G & B Finch Ltd in Essex. An impressive piece of kit to say the least. Excellent video again, as per usual. 👌👍
thank you Daniel, your videos are the best i have been a fan for nearly 3 years now and all your videos make me laugh and they always make my day from worse to 10x better please keep doing everything you love and keep making people laugh have a nice day
Great video Danial and crew. Love the banta with Michael, and that’s a fine collection he has there. Back in the day I believe it was Arlington that were the Leyland / AEC dealers. I worked with a few guys who had worked there and came over to Henley’s of Wembley the Bedford dealership. Good fitters and great guys, my mate Gilly from Grenada in the West Indies. Even in the mid 80s there were many Scammell eight leggers on muck away work prior to the 232 Magirius Deutz taking over. Good old days. 👍🏴🇺🇸
Great video thanks Daniel 😊, seeing you visiting Michael's ODONOVAN fleet enterprise is a great achievement of the 3 generation put together ❤️. Have a great sunny Sunday and stay safe 👍
The shunter is definitely South Africa. Good to hear a familiar accent and for all those who think South Africans sound British.. please... you see and hear for yourself yeah? LOL
The first time I saw a train pull into a station I was 8 years old. I had a Hornby set up. But my gosh to see the full size was awesome. My destination- BBC Television Centre. I was on Blue Peter. I’m now 50 but trains are still cool
Another great weekly video. Will be great success to see an Ashville Flagship model Scania. Those old lorries were a great insight into seeing how far trucks have come along in terms of design, comfort, fuel efficiency and technologies that make modern trucks much more comfortable to be in and carry out daily activities. Sad bit Dan reminding us about 20 more weekly videos to go :( :( :(
Great video as always Daniel also love seeing Michael O’Donovan in the content fella really cracks me up with the banter between the pair of you , fantastic old wagons too thank you 👌👌

The client most likely spec’d it. I’m sure the boys advised him of this. You unfortunately can’t force common sense. Has to come naturally.
