  • There are a few ways to strike small men unlike big men strike. While you are going for 1 dan, 2 dan and 3 dan, you don't need to know any other variations of a small strike. Unless you have a sensei to teach you those variations properly.

    Thanks so much sensei. your explanation of the physics behind the strike of using forward momentum and using left hand to stop so shinai can launch forward is really helpful and can help us analyze the strike to improve
