    Yes Andy, my Japanese wife used to teach kendo to nursery kids. Pretty cool, though more a bjj/judo guy myself…

    Do waza is difficult skill to me..😢

      Same. There are some beginners who can do it super naturally but Dou is generally difficult for most!

    Im 6'3 or 190cm, and i find myself letting the shinai drop below horizontal to make the shinai land on the do-dai.
    Anyone else dealt with this and have advice to fix this?

      I'm 6'5, and have the same issue as well on top of slouching a bit to drop the shinai. Counterintuitivly the slouch makes me more likely to go past horizontal. Only advice I can offer as a beginner myself is to try and make sure you aren't slouching.
