    This video and content was excellent. From your videos I have picked up the observation that many of your students rush in for Tsuba-Zerial, and from there use hiki waza. Is this a strategy you endorse?

      Thank you for your comment. Rather than actively seeking out Tsuba-Zerial, We would like you to understand it as a strategic action in the context of attacking and defending the Ma-ai between you and your opponent. It is important to first focus on taking a solid Ippon from your initial Kamae (posture), and then be mindful of strategic developments from there.

    In the footwork segment, you said you switch your feet so the left foot is in front, but during the demo (even in slow motion) I cannot see this.
