From the CBC Special "Alberta Bound" courtesy of CBC and White Iron Pictures. Clip filmed in the summer of 2005 at Corb's family ranch near Cardston, Alberta.
Called a friend of mine in New Mexico this morning. He drove a lot of miles to see Ian in a small intimate setting somewhere in New Mexico. Ian talked with him for at least 30 minutes. His favorite song is M C Horses. My friend is a real cowboy who has worked on some of the iconic old ranches in Arizona. He's a real cowboy with a lot of dust in his eyes really feeling the loss of a Great Cowboy. Our hats are over our hearts. Canada, your "Four Strong Winds" are blowing lonely down here in the States.
@@adventurousbec He said that many people were getting annoyed with him, but with Ian being a cowboy and my friend being a cowboy they had a lot to discuss.
My dad bought a horse from Mr Tyson and my grandfather, an old cowboy like Ian, had ties to him as well. I'd love to move my ranch south but the money issue is holding us back. and Corb, way to be haha don'tcha just love it when they pull that on ya in the middle of the pasture??
its true i got bucked of my 16 year old ranch he has been around more then his share. i was chaseing a calf to with the scours my horse steped into a hole and i went off the back and broke my humerus bone down and out for 3 months lol
In the beginning the term Cowboy was applied to a person that hadnt made his mark or settled down. It was more about maturity and the knowledge that comes with it. It could be defined in the opposite as a man that owns cattle is a cattleman and a man that owns or trains horses is a horseman, Its origin is from the biblical Therefore I am You'll often hear a horseman state when called a cowboy, that he doesn't own any cows or a cattleman say I own a few. Its respect due that's often overlooked
Nothing....Horses are just more interesting for lack of a better way to put it. As we say in New Mexico some people like red chili and some like green chili. Just taste...

Its what horses do. Have a broken arm and pelvis
to witness that. Broke horse or not, they rear up
and buck because they can.
