So good to see the great late Ian Tyson playing along with Corb . Probably one of his last appearances . One of the very best true blue Canadian Singer Songwriters . A cult icon .
My favorite part of all of this - great as it is - is Grant S just ripping those Angus Young solos. He can play this stuff in his sleep. Amazing guitarist.
It’s great to see a young country pay much respect to one of his hero’s and help keep him active. A shame Ian had the throat complications that he did. He had an incredible voice.
Stunning version of an AC/DC classic, absolutely loved it, nice to see you guys keeping the memory of Bon Scott alive, great job guys, RIP Bon Scott 1946 - 1980!! 🙏🙏
@@anguscarnegie9698 Hi Angus, I'm from Scotland myself, there's not a frontman that comes close to Bon in my opinion, he was the man, and still is as far as I'm concerned 😀😀🤘🤘🙏🙏 RIP, Bon, 1946 - 1980 🙏 🙏
And R.I.P Malcolm Young 6.1.1953-18.11.2017 perhaps the best rhythm guitarist of all time. The Solo is from her Brother Angus Young drums Philip Phil Rudd and bassist Cliff Williams
I saw a fantastic interview with Brad Paisley talking about the deep effect classic rock has had on young country... As a once wild & crazy survivor from what's now "the classic rock era" I salute you all for your eclectic taste! Ride On brothers & sisters...
Love the man/men❤️❤️ Love the song❤️ And, I had the immense privilege of seeing both Corb AND Ian (at different times) at the amazing Showplace in Peterborough!
First viewed Corb at NFR last year, on TV, (blown away,) turned out he happened to be playin 100 miles away in Morro bay couple months after NFR. I've seen Mearle, David Allen Coe, George, Dwight, Hank III, Vince, and Ac\Dc with Bon, Corb's show was right there with the best of em! Corb opened for Mearle at his last shows I heard!
All I gotta do is sing the line " ride on " and I get a check ; yep but first your gotta tour record and entertain for 60 years Then you get the retirement gig .
@@brandongraddy its a shame but slim dusty sings about australia so its understandable why some people over where u are wouldnt understand where he sometimes comes from
Ian Tyson drive my mom and her old school buddy home from the bar he had been singing at. Where she drove as he scraped ice off the windshield. And her buddy had a rough day at college the next day. As mom probably broke horses.
How "funny" this is, a country band, playing blues from an Heavy Metal band. Just amazing great job Ride On and I'm sure AC DC will be glad to heard this
After his motorcycle accident in which he hit his larynx, he couldn't speak for weeks. His sister said he had a voice like an angel. When she heard him speak for the first time she said to herself that he would sing the greatest rock songs of all time and the rest is history
Nice version. But nobody reaches Bon... sorry. Compared to the original this sounds shallow. Still good, no disrespect, but it lacks all of Bons version.
People don’t realize how hard it is to play this song n sing it Singer is out of key Guitar player couldn’t hold angus Anything I think what happens when any band try’s to cover AC/DC they actually realize it’s way harder then it sounds But love the respect
Looks like Ian Tyson is standing there thinking.... " WTF am I doing here? " Look at what he is used for in this video, standing there waiting to sing his lines.... ride on, ride on, ride on. Video would have been okay, till Ian is disgraced.
Joe S I disagree, Ian isn’t getting any younger. He still sings great harmony. I’ve seen Corb and Ian together a couple times, I think Ian is treated with the greatest of respect. I see this collaboration as a passing of the torch, of sorts, across generations. Besides, lan wouldn’t do it if he felt he was being dissed.
I'm a massive AC/DC fan and I came across this version and I love it.
Don’t know young guy but Ian looks. Great\ Thanks for posting WOW
Great !...Bon Scott would be honored, beautifully performed👍💪💪🤟🤟
Fantastic !!!
RIP to one of Canada's great singer and songwriters Ian Tyson
And Bon Scott the Greatest singer and songwriter from Australia

RIP Ian Tyson, truly a Canadian Icon
My favorite part of all of this - great as it is - is Grant S just ripping those Angus Young solos. He can play this stuff in his sleep. Amazing guitarist.
Grant is totally legit and with basically any set of strings he is The Man!
That was wonderful. Bon Scott would have been proud.
Corb covering AC/DC what in the fuck? I absolutely approve...
This is absolut great
Idiot
I listen to this song every weekend with my dad.
It’s great to see a young country pay much respect to one of his hero’s and help keep him active. A shame Ian had the throat complications that he did. He had an incredible voice.
Sounds like he's making due, kinda like ol' John Prine did after cancer. His vocals are haunting on this cover.
It was Ian that worships Corb Lund. But all is great when greats meet. Awesome. I know Corb.
@@derrickconnolly9164 you are SO lucky!!! I think the man is a genius! (Well, both men are , of course, but Corb…he is just something else!)
Really great cover of AC/DC's Ride On. Love it.
I was at that 2019 Calgary Stampede show. RIP Ian Tyson.
I will never Get tired of this song, great version man.
Stage full of legends. Love this so much❤🇨🇦

As Jeff Beck said "I am glad country artists decided to stay in Nashville otherwise rock guitarists would be out of a job", and he is not wrong 😉
So in case y'all didn't know, when it comes to live performances Corb Lund is the stud horse with the fuzzy balls and Texas loves him!
Ride On! Ride On! Ride On! Looking forward to hearing the rest of the tracks from "Cover Your Tracks". Just keeps getting better!
Ride On Ian.... 4 Stong Winds to carry you. My Favorite AC DC tune. TY
Great cover Corb
You guys killed it.
This was really nice. The original version by ACDC is lovely as well! Check it out.
Absolutely amazing very good cover
Man I love this …Bet Bon and Malcom are jamming this!
He voice is TOO smooth! Bon was gravelly!

great vocals, and great guitar playing ♪♫♫♪♫
Awesome!...LOVE the Ian...so sad his voice had the issues it did...BUT...he's still such an icon for Canadian country music...love it!! :o)
Such an amazing rendition of this classic song!!
I saw Ian and Sylvia 45 years ago in Winnipeg
Each time I find that ol' Ian is still alive, I know the West is, too.
Legend of the Great Bon Scott
I need to see you live again, damn that was good
Love this.RIP Ian.
Published on my bday. Thanks boys!
This is dope 🙌🏽
Kids, pay attention - a Telecaster leaves you nowhere to hide - clean classic guitar rules.
There are no kids here. Wish they’re were but I really doubt it
Did Grant break a string?! He killed it either way! :)
Weird but I like that country boys show respect
This is Respect max ✊
Yaaaaay! Love these boys.
love this vers. ode to bon scott. rock this out
Why ist rock out Rock never die
AC DC, love it.
Aye?
Fan-freaking-tastic!
You look great Corb ...
Great song thank you
Excellent Cover!
an ACDC Bon Scott classic . Let their be rock was another one .
One of the rules of thumb in what makes a hit rock tune is whether it translates to country and vice versa. ACDC, Led Zeppelin.
All I gotta do is sing the line " ride on " and I get a check ; yep but first your gotta tour record and entertain for 60 years Then you get the retirement gig .
I miss Ian!!!!
This way too cool!
From Australiar to Canada
New cd was worth the wait
IOVE IT !
Awesome!!
Good stuff!
ride on!

This was worthy of the original
Cover versions are rarely as good as the original.
This is rare. Awesome.

Fuckin' great! I love this version. Awesome.
Love it
Fuckin' A that kicks ass! Angus and Bon would approve!!
Im australian and i dont listen to ian tyson but i still respect the old timer, just like u guys would respect a figure of slim dusty
Malachi Wex I am a Texan, but love the sounds of Slim Dusty. Most folks here would not have a clue. What a legend.
Ian will be 86 in 2 weeks.

Indiana's coming in loud clear
Why's the old guy there? He just there for backing vocals?
Ifk, but I wish he'd take over.
It's a bon Scott song
realy? wow
Who'd a thunk this is a cowboy song?
I wuz thinking the same. Back in the day this wouldn't happen 😃
Nobody. Should sing. This but Bon
How "funny" this is, a country band, playing blues from an Heavy Metal band. Just amazing great job Ride On and I'm sure AC DC will be glad to heard this
ATADACA was not a Heavymetalband but a hard rock and rhythm and blues band
After his motorcycle accident in which he hit his larynx, he couldn't speak for weeks. His sister said he had a voice like an angel. When she heard him speak for the first time she said to herself that he would sing the greatest rock songs of all time and the rest is history

U can cover AC/DC all day but it’s all bout attitude n the life
These guys r cool
But have no idea what this song is about nor do they care
They try to be dirty, but they aren't really.
Nice version. But nobody reaches Bon... sorry. Compared to the original this sounds shallow. Still good, no disrespect, but it lacks all of Bons version.
La chitarra lead è decisamente calante. Un vero peccato..
People don’t realize how hard it is to play this song n sing it

Guitar player couldn’t hold angus
Anything
I think what happens when any band try’s to cover AC/DC they actually realize it’s way harder then it sounds
But love the respect
Apparently you and I are in the minority, but I agree completely. Both singer and guitarist are terribly out of tune
butchery
It's irrelevant, but did ian even pick one note on his guitar? lol
In the next song Ian shredded out Danza de la Moza Donosa by Alberto Ginastera,
he did not and neither did corb... would of been awesome if corb was playing too
AC-DC or Beasts of Bourbon.. Two versions. The original and the only cover that matters.... No disrespect. Just saying..
Anyone else disgusted that Ian Tyson needs to wear a stage pass?
nO ...... gringos ¡ " solo is bad
drummer needs to slow down
