Excellent video, Jay! Yeah, there is no city in the U.S. that's better than New York...I love it there too! I was so fortunate to spend a few years going to school on the Upper West Side of Manhattan!
Last time I was in New York City was 20 years ago. The Ghostbusters firehouse will be in my bucket list one of these days. I love to come back to New York City and see a lot of the Ghostbusters locations. It's also one of my favorite movies. I'm still a big Ghostbusters fan.
I was 14 when this movie came out. We were at a family reunion when all the cousins decided to go see the movie! We walked to the theater and took up half the seats! It was awesome! Sadly, it was the last time my brother and I would see a movie together. He was killed in a car accident 2 years later. Still one of my favorite movies and memories.
Hello Jay, Great video my friend. It was awesome to see you and "Adam the Woo" together visiting NYC and showing us around some of the movie locations. It was awesome to see the Ghostbuster Fire Station, one of my favorite moves. So surprised to hear that it is still an active Fire Station...Thats great! Thanks for sharing this wonderful adventure to NYC with us my friend. Safe travels, Like 358.
“Mother Teresa” 🤣🤣🤣 I was hoping you’d show up to join Adam! Cant wait for the Rays vlog (even though *spoiler alert* yesterday’s game didn’t end well😩)! Great vlog today! RAYS UP!
3:04 panning down talking about SATC to see a fashionable young lady standing here in front of the steps. Makes me wonder if the show had an impact on her. For all its flaws, the show was ahead of it’s time and really gave women a vice in a multitude of ways. Thanks for including it on your video this time!
Love the video! I’m a native NYer now relocated, so seeing you in NYC was exciting! My kids grew up watching the original Ghostbuster movie 🍿 so cool! Love when you and Adam team up. You guys are fun to watch together. You can see you guys love vlogging filming locations and baseball games which sharing your passion for these types of vlogs makes them even more exciting to watch. Looking forward to the next one 👍
Awesome filming locations! Of course I enjoyed the Ghostbusters Firehouse. I actually have a friend who works in NYC and is involved with the Ghostbusters community.
You guys are such legends. I am from NYC (live in NJ now) but work in midtown. I wish I could’ve bumped into you! Lol. Btw, the Lincoln & Holland Tunnels both To AND From NJ. I could easily help you find other points of interest near where I grew up such as The Jefferson’s building, Diff’rent Strokes Building, Woody Allen shooting locations, etc!
Great video of my hometown. I’m glad you and Mr Woo teamed up to visit some of the filming locations in NYC. There was a location that was under your nose by the United Nations. The movie was Scarface and it was the scene where they are following the diplomat that was going to deliver the speech at the UN. The building shown in the car back window is located on 38th street and 1st ave.
Hi Tampa Jay. If you go up Park Ave between 32nd and 33rd Streets and go in the lobby. The gold elevator doors were used in Charles Bronson's Death Wish. I used to work in the building.
Another awesome video! Everytime i see Grand Central Station with that Metlife building behind it, i think of Will Smith yelling at Fred the mannequin asking if he was real in I am Legend! 😂
Hi! I actually went to School with Lisa Barbuccia who was in Highlander... and she lived with her Parents 4 houses from me...we played with each others Barbies...Her Parents still live in Brooklyn..i saw her Sister Wanda not too long ago...her Brother Frankie i haven't seen in ages... I reside in Brooklyn still and was just in front of the Barclays Center last night... It was a beautiful night last night to walk around NY... Thanks for sharing this with us and taking us along...have a blessed day!!❤❤❤
Fun fact: The two lions outside of the NYPL are named Patience and Fortitude. Thanks for all of the shots of the Chrysler Building! It's one of the most beautiful buildings in the world...and yes, you can get in the lobby, but unless you have business in the building, that's as far as you'll get. Stay safe!!!
Btw, I am Legend movie included a cool scene filmed right where you were panning your camera towards Grand Central. And 101 Park Ave also included a scene from Brewsters Millions. Cool scene of the firehouse! I didn’t know they had an GB’s stuff inside.
Great video and collab! Love it when you and Adam do videos together. Would you believe I am 54 years old and i have never been to NYC? I'm not a big city fan. LOL Thank you for sharing, my friend! Ya'll stay safe, and God bless 🙌 FYI, I have a Cris the Girl sticker, and I would love a Tampa Jay sticker and an Adam the Woo sticker. 🤗
When my daughter lived there, we visited her in Queen near Chinatown. A fun trip and I was blown away by the Fact that all 5 Boroughs have the same Named streets in them. All 5 have Broadway, and so on. Have fun and stay safe!
Love the videos! You can find anything in NY. Just an fyi both the Holland and Lincoln tunnels go both in and out of the city. Lincoln is in mid town and Holland is downtown. Are you going to a Yankee game?
Those are some tasty looking sandwiches! I've been to the Carnegie Deli, but I never managed to get to Katz's. Great team up! You were right at the NY Public Library and didn't go in to see the Winnie the Pooh dolls?
Best Posthumous Cameo EVER..👻 ✨️ Harold Ramis in GB: Afterlife. And, a Special Shout Out to Stranger Things for featuring the boys in Ghostbuster uniforms during Halloween. I was literally their age when all the D & D, Neverending Story, and Movies & Music took place. On the same note, I'm the Same Age as Winona Ryder. 😎👍
Tampa Jay and Adam the woo. i thought this was a cool vlog , i cannot believe how many awesome movies either filmed in New York or the story line . The sandwich looked good , but holy moly the price I think overall looks like a great fun time vlog . New York is a fun city to visit .
Love your videos TJ! Fyi you come in and out of both the Lincoln and the Holland tunnels. They are in separate cities altogether in NJ. The Lincoln shoots you out to mid town 😊
Canal st. Like my grandma use to say “Back in the day” was hopping with all the fake Oakleys, gold, knock off purses and movies on VHS, yes VHS of movies that were out then! 😭😂💀
Fun video but Nolan's Dark Knight trilogy was filmed mostly in Chicago and the third one was in Pittsburgh. The Avengers shot in front of Grand Central when you guys were talking about it, I think anyway.
Tampa Jay I watched your older video of Ghostbusters filming sites and wondered if he was going to have the church step scoop and you did. I was there when it happened and I am the only person to have photos with all 4 of the Ghostbusters in their uniforms . And it happened on that day at that location.
@tampajay there is a ghostbusters event on June 10 with ecto’s the alessi bros and so far the “you do your job pencil neck” cop and the ghostbusters alright alright guy.

Yesterday was the 35th anniversary of Friday the 13th Part 7: The New Blood
