Omg, Tom is so freaking handsome 😍 thank you for all your videos! I am planning trip to NYC on the end of July and thank God for RUclips and people like you to give us Europeans interesting informations!
FOUND OUT ABOUT YOUR VIDEOS JUST WEEKS AGO! I've been hooked. Currently Planning a trip to New York and your videos are so helpful. I've been binge watching actually! hoped you'd make a video where famous movie scenes were filmed. And here it is! what a coincidence! Yay! PLEASE KEEP MAKING THESE VIDEOS
Can someone please tell me what happened to Tom and Sarah and the countless live streams they used to do in nyc? I can’t seem to find them anymore (except for this one). Neither the videos, nor any kind of explanation. Any help will be highly appreciated! Thx
Sarah, you put so much time and effort on your videos. I love them all! And Tom is so cool and funny. I love you guys! Looking forward to watching more collabs between you both. 💕
Thank you so much for your folder! I have never seen someone provide such helpful tips and recommendations and all ready to print. I have never been so excited! You have such great videos! I can’t wait to book a tour with you! Thank you for reading my comment and helping me get access so quickly! You rock!!
A few places I visited that are a bit more obscure. The apartment building from Taxi Driver, Elaine's office from Seinfeld, the alley where Clark Kent and Lois Lane are mugged. (Remember when he catches the bullet?) And of course the Mad Men headquarters in the first season. It's called the Lever House. Go ahead an google it and you'll say 'oh yeah, that thing. I have seen that in many movies.' And you must visit the Joker Stairs in the Bronx.
I was surprised that "Elf" wasn't mentioned when talking about the Empire State Building or Rockefeller Center, especially had you turned the camera around on the Rockefeller Center shot, we'd be looking at what was used as the "Gimball's" exterior from Elf. Also across from the Plaza Hotel, you were near the apple store and behind that on the right side, the classic location of the "Big" piano duet when that toy store was located there. I know there are too many cool film locations to mention in NYC, but I missed those. I enjoyed the video though, I'll check out more of your vids.
I loved the video! I hope to go one day and explore that amazing city! Everytime you upload a video about New York I get so excited lol 😁 i'm in love with NYC ❤
Great video. We have just returned home to the UK after our first trip to New York. Think we watched every one of your videos about New York and visited numerous places on your recommendation so thanks tor the great content. Look forward to doing one of your tours during our next visit. The only shame was the scaffolding on the Flatiron but otherwise we absolutely loved the whole place
@@SarahFunky honestly we loved the full place, including all the local food and drink locations. Proud to say we didn't attend a single chain restaurant/bar the full time and we managed to visit all 5 burroughs. Out of all the "touristy" stuff, the 9/11 memorial museum was the one that stood out for us
Hi Sarah, I've been in NYC for three weeks in September and explored the city 14 hrs, 23.000 steps a day :) There still are a lot of places that I'm noting down for my next trip. Your videos are definitely a cheerful way for these kinda hints. Thanks a lot. Btw, happy to see Tom joined to your channel. However, as a foreigner I hardly understand and need to relisten whatever he says :) Perhaps, he will take this humble opinion into account and do smt about it :) Thank you both...
My pleasure. We go every year - 8yrs running, and I found you incredibly refreshing and to the point of what I wanted to see again or make note of for the future. I look forward to watching many more of your videos. :-) Dave in Ottawa, Canada.
Hi Sarah and Tom. Great. One long since gone, the " Bellmore Cafeteria" at 28th St. And Park Avenue. In many 70' s films, like " Taxi Driver " and " Taking of Pelham 123."
Omgggg Sarah! I watched pretty much all your videos before going to New York last week and I just happened to take Tom’s TV movie tour while I was there on Sunday! He’s hilarious and I thought he looked and sounded like Penn Badgley the whole time! I’m glad I’m not the only one.
Oh Sarah! I wish you both had a tour between 22nd (evening) till the 25th February :( However if you are going to anything that you think is worth the visit (music shows, other tours...) do let me know! ❤️🙏
A quick question what time do you guys start? Tours P.S you should consider a vlog saying a day to day as a NYC Tutor guide that will be very interesting video for you guys.
The collab i needed, been following you Sarah, tomdnyc, and herebebarr for couple of years because id love to visit NYC, and i did; the facts and locations you suggested are my goals to go to! Keep it up and we’ll keep watching😄
I think the Sienfield restaurant, and the Marilyn Monroe subway vent, are more famous than the exterior of the Friends apartment, or the Ghostbuster’s firehouse.
Just to add to Washington Square Park, the famous scene from "Barefoot in the Park" was shot here where Jane Fonda is with Robert Redford and Redford is traipsing around barefoot in Washington Square Park, thus the title.
Cool , But "A Movie Filming Locations in NYC" list without a single location from one of Woody Allen's Movies? you should fix this by dedicate a whole vlog just for Woody Allen's Movies Locations in NYC :D

Another is the MTA' s " Subway Studio " at Hoyt-Schermerhorn Station in Brooklyn. Most movies and TV with a ' subway scene ' have filmed there.

Hi Kevin, the tour start times can vary. For the secrets of New York tour it starts at 11 am. That is the one Tom does!
That's awesome!! He was also on one of Actionkid's as well!
1:05 That's so funny!
He looks like Dexter. He certainly has his mannerisms when Dexter is in a mood.
Had no idea on most of these! But then again, I'm pretty bad at pop culture stuff. Ask me about beer though!
Your beer video will come soon enough!
Great vlog you to 😘😘
You two are adorable
St Vincent...Sheepshead Bay!

Tom D is hilarious 😅
that is fantastic.
that "friend and tour guide Tom" hurt a little bit I think.. lololol
they forgot the famous steep stairs where the joker was filmed in the bx
Oh I’m sure they didn’t “forget”
I bet if they mentioned _every_ noteworthy place, they’d be filming for months!
