You know..? There’s a very interesting thing about power in life and human nature overall. Most people will do whatever it takes to maintain control. My point is that it’s very ironic that the Lakers owners, Jerry & Jeanie Buss have a history of ensuring that the true architects of the Lakers success and dynasties never had true power in the Lakers kingdom. Jerry West, Magic, Kareem, Elgin and Pat Riley all strangely enough had to leave the Lakers organization for true power, control and appreciation for their basketball contributions. Look deeper into how the Buss family operates and you’ll see a pattern of disloyalty towards their greatest architects and an unwillingness to give the credit truly deserved. Like most people in power, the Buss family didn’t have the aura of a Magic, Pat Riley, Jerry West so they ensured that they would never elevate them in the Lakers organization too high so they couldn’t be totally overshadowed. I guarantee you that Jerry Buss told his daughter that Magic is great but never let him take too much of the Lakers organization. Magic learned a valuable lesson. He’s going to take the high road but knows the truth. Facts 💯
