Try the lyric video for 'Seven Sins'. It's the opening track on his 'Sick Boi' album and it's amazing (and one of Ren's favourite tracks).
He's just released a mash up of Fred Again songs (Fred Again is a UK DJ and producer). Ren made an acoustic guitar and vocal track from several EDM tracks. 👌

You probably won’t know this but the line that goes , Flora, edible, spreadable …. Etc - Flora is a very popular brand of easy spread margarine in the UK, made with sunflower oil.

Hello, long time no see 😊 Love that you explained that part about the monkey on his back. I was thinking Monkeys get experimented on in the labs, Ren was getting experimented on with meds when they didn't know what was wrong. Also a side note he is getting experimental treatment in Canada. It is a specific treatment formulated for his medical situation, never the less still new and experimental.
Is that your sweet puppy in the picture? Miniature poodle? My icon has my two favorite things, my beautiful ragdoll boy named Boo and a poker hand. I use to play a lot of poker and black jack at the casinos when this picture was made. I pretty much gave that up, it was a toxic environment. But Boo is 14 yrs old and still going strong.
@@kellyt5341That is Luna, a mini cocker spaniel taken in as a stray. No longer with us, but she was a sweet love. Lifelong pet owner, mostly cats. I can barely see Boo!

Ren is catching up on the rough part of his treatments in Canada
He put them off to get the album out
Album was #1Album in the UK in October on its release
Will have been in treatment for 18 months in April wgen hopefully finished and able to go back to Brighton England
He lives in England but is Welsh also UK where he comes from.
His last music release Fred again mash up is beautiful 🔥a week ago
Feels like understanding his lyrics requires the community. The hive can put it all together

@arklilbro I do think I've seen them before. They're a fruit flavoured hard boiled sugar confectionery if I'm not mistaken. I remember we had something similar to those growing up in the UK, but the name escapes me now. I'm sure they weren't called lifesavers tho.

Awesome! You're really good at breakdowns. I was really surprised at how many bars you got especially on first listen. Most reactors don't catch his bars. 2 other lyric vids are Seven Sins (lyrical madness) and Wicked Ways (lots of references and doubles). Btw, Nile crocodiles are the most feared and aggressive. Who in the hell knows that? Not me but one reactor did, lol.

Ren is not mentioned in the top 5 indy rappers because he's not categorised as a rapper. He eats up all the rappers especially the deluded one who thinks he's no 1 but Ren is a true all genre artist at elite level. Acting, wordplay, producing, directing, making beats, singing in dozens of tones and style ( blues,soul,rock,reggae,pop,opera esk, ska, punk, ballads) limitless flow and rhyme schemes

PS, I think he might get overlooked by some because of his F-ing amazing versatility. Ren is not a rapper, well, not JUST a rapper, so he might get lost in the mix. For me, it's his musicality that is heads above. He uses spoken rap like he uses his guitar, to produce melody. Some rappers use spoken word rap as percussion, which can be enjoyable as well but the flow, cadence, and pitch switches Ren excels at will always be more pleasing to my ear then just chasing/ riding a beat alone is. The latter can still be auditory pleasing but Ren makes rap sound like it's not rap.

This one of my favourite Ren songs, great lyrics (obviously!) But without any music, genius.(Again, obviously!)😜 Ren is too eclectic to be classed as a "rapper".
