A guess here...but when Flawdzilla was reacting to Samson's last song (Price Hike) about 9 months ago Adam C. came into the comment section and mentioned how the independent rappers are all jumping into the political rap since Tom started it and made it popular. Basically Samson is trying to profit off the political genre. So Samson isn't chasing top chart numbers like Tom, and he isn't trying to profit off politics like Adam suggested. Samson was just telling you how he feels at the moment with all the sh!t going on. It has obviously bothered Samson and kept him away for 9 months. This one was not political. Flawdzilla and Samson are good friends and Flawd thinks Samson is one of the top rappers right now.
Sounds like Calhoun feeling threatened by a rapper who could clearly out rap him and McDonald. [No hate towards tom] but samson is clearly the better artist

As a rap enthusiast myself with a bachelor's degree in piano performance, samson is in fact one of the greats if not the greatest
J-Byrd He had a huge hit when he was 12 called green and yellow. I'm from Green Bay that's how I know of him. So look up little J-byrd i think i remember he even got tech 9 to bring him up on stage. He's been doing this for awhile always been this good with his flow. He's in GA now and funny thing is that's where I'm at too.

This man has some true talent. I totally hear him about the political rap sub-genre. I've listened to one by Tom McDonald years ago and a couple Burden tracks and that is it. Samson is at the top of my list.
You say you know rap, you must know Foreign Exchange? 'Raw Life' and 'The Answer' are two of my favorite tracks. In high school everyone was listening to Eminem and 50 Cent, I was listening to rap like M.O.P , Talib, Cormega and Kool G Rap. Lol

Samson went by JByrd when he was a teenager. His RUclips is still up and he even has a video on there when he opened for Tech N9ne. Samson has ALWAYS been dope.

But to see Samson go OFF and show his true skills while giving props to so many old school rappers check out his video called "A Lot" it's absolute FIRE bro!
In this video for Cesspool I think he's talking about Tom "I'll never beg for a Billboard" line and how his song are surface level garbage out out just to make money.
And when he's taking about a rapper who said Samson is just biting their "political rap" style for money he's probably talking about Adam Calhoun. A few years back in the comment section of a Flawdzilla reaction to one of Samson's political raps, Adam said he's just jumping on the bandwagon for money and views. He pretty much wrote him off.
But Samson is absolute FIRE as we see in this video. He can rap his asssss off and wayyyyy better than those other guys. Well Adam is a beast on the mic. Tom has given up j km regular rap and just does political jingles now. Which is cool and the topics are needed. But it's the same thing over and over.
