I love the Ford hoodie while driving one of GM's finest products. You do have a Bronco, so I'll let you slide. LOL. I've been enjoying your videos. I started out with the $35000 dollar mistake video. I'm sorry that happened to you, but it was kind of a blessing in disguise. I just picked up an '09 GT G8 on Memorial Day. It was a one owner car with only 47K miles on it. A gentlemen in his late 70's had kept it garaged all its life and on a battery tender when stored. Talk about a time capsule. Anyway your GXP looks and sounds amazing. I really liked the carbon fiber hood. I didn't think I would until I saw it on your car. Maybe the white really sets it off. Our G8 is Maverick silver. Take care! New subscriber.
@Virtual Vapes Thanks for the support!... and letting me slide on the Ford hoodie. lol. I found it ironic and I was surprised more people didn't catch it. Congratulations on the G8 purchase. Sounds like you got a great deal. I know you will love it and I hope you hold on to it. These cars are rare and getting harder to find every year!
@ron diaz Thank man. All together out the door was a little under $9,000. That included all the machine work forged internals including crankshaft, pistons, etc. It would have been less, closer to $7,000, but there was some things that came up that needed fixing or replacing, like pulleys, oil pump, and other bits and pieces. Hope this helps. Thanks for watching.
@1997TL1000 The car sprung a really bad rear main seal leak before we could get any base line numbers. Part of the reason I stroked it out was because I had to get the engine pulled to fix the seal and the crank pulley, the root of the problem. The previous owner had some upgrades done but I don't know how much.
@@ls3jj862 I can't remember of the top of my head, I'll look over the paper work to see if I can find it. But I do remember it was pretty low compression because I plan on boosting it.
I was looking to see if someone commented on the Ford shirt, lol. Not that there's anything wrong with that if that's what you're in to. Not what I would wear to make a video about a Chevy-powered Pontiac.
@Mike Goodwin I'm actually surprised more people haven't commented on that. LOL. And just to clarify, it's a Chevy powered Pontiac that's actually a Holden. LOL.
