One of my favorite things about TGS videos is that you’re able to convey a complex idea in an intelligent informative manner whilst taking the piss and having a good time. Great viewing as always. Cheers gents 👍☺️
It's a fair point as we do see in the 'past' because by the time the light has entered the eye and by the time the optic nerve has sent the signal to the occidental segment of the brain and the time it takes the brain to evaluate what is occurring and the synapse response through the various nerves to pull the trigger and the minuscule time for the shot to be fired I can see this working... I don't know the mathematics but am sure anyone can look it up. Good vid guys!
Ed, I have to say thank you I’m going to give this a go, I’m one for shooting at the target so I miss as much as I hit, for some reason my brain hurts shooting at nothing if you get my meaning. Big thumbs up. But only if it works. 😜
Funny your opening crosstalk took me back to rabbit clays when a good friend said the same to me on a stand.''shoot the back of the clay''.It worked much better than the geyser of dirt when I shot in front.😈
Does it have to be Laura Ashley paper? I have some William Morris paper left over and was wondering if that will do. But in all honesty that was a fun video!!
Thank you for the great content Johnny! May I ask you a bit offtopic, I just bought a 28 gauge silver pigeon 1 based on your videos. I notice a certain sogginess (dragging sensation before engagement) of the second barrel trigger. Interestingly, it disappears when I switch the selector to second barrel first… Do you have any idea on why that is and if it is a common issue? Thanks and best wishes!! Dimitar
You my friend need to discover the delight of Southern Comfort, I've been stuck indoors with torrential rain all day with a 15year old daughter who thinks I am the devil incarnate and I'm riding the chill wave 😉... I'm not saying TGS doesn't make it better but why waste the first half of the day 🤣
@@ddoherty5956 I once drank a little too much SC in one sitting, can't stomach it... I would go at shooting on a Sunday but my local club doesn't open on the day of rest :D
For whatever reason, as a right handed shooter I ALWAYS see more lead on a left to right crosser than I see with a right to left all else being equal. Obviously the lead to break them are the same, but the perception is different for me.
Your demonstration is slightly flawed. The aiming mark is static. A moving target would have travelled on futher in the time your brain told your finger and the guns lock time.
It’s gunspeed relative to a target so although in one aspect you are correct in another you aren’t , to pass by the clay with the same speed difference as what they done you would be moving way faster , yes the clay would have moved , however you would have moved even further, it’s not the best experiment for exact numbers , rather it shows you the principle
Because of this video my wife is divorcing me. Her Laura Ashley wallpaper is ruined and the plasterboard, waterpipes and electrical wiring are shot to pieces! The photo of the mother in law was awful anyway but it did stop burglars from breaking in.
You guys are just the best smiles all the way through that thankyou. All the very best 👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴👍🏻🏴

It's really funny to watch the two of them

Good to see something we've all wondered about illustrated concretely.
Thank you . . . .
Very important to judge target speed before releasing the hounds !
Great video Johnny. This makes a lot of sense. Oh by the way, I love the wall paper design, it looks good. 😂
My good lady feels compelled to remind me that I can only shoot the wallpaper OUTSIDE .... 🤔
Fair, I suppose.

How much gun speed do I put into this?
Don’t go mental…dying 😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Was the wallpaper left over from Ed’s new dressing room decor post the purchase of the fetching blue strides which obvs necessitated a make over.
Still loving the shades you guys wear 😎 👍
I use Andrex as I'm a crap shot :)

Good video,hopefully I've learnt something!

Finally makes sense. One of my guns is too fast. One is too slow. I’m headed back to buy a new gun that has the right speed.
Thank you Johnny! Guys, what brand glasses are you using?
Best Regards gentlemen

You certainly pasted that wallpaper!
Luxury wallpaper.... that's where I've gone wrong!
No science was used in the making of this video.
Cautionary advertisement acknowledged and accepted.
Well that's torn it, You said you just wanted to borrow the wall paper. Have to put the bit with the hole in behind the headboard,
I'll have to give it a go. I'm heading to the shooting club tomorrow morning

That doesn’t sound like a common issue - worth getting it checked out
thank you
Sunday's drag until the TGS video gets released.

@@RichardWaineUK you can't have a teenage daughter 😉🤣🤣🤣👍
I’d still miss 😂😂
if using fibre wads. Would it not be better to use wood chip paper
No, from experience woodchip is much harder to get off again
Ed Solomons video? Press play, press like, sit back, learn and enjoy

Could well be a pull from the left eye
Jonny is now banned from the local B&Q. 🤣🤣🤣
Science 👍🏻
100% guaranteed We have a BSc in Lead
Try OL skeet :-)
The slow is fast. The fast is slow.
I'm on bad side but ... movin forward ;)
I've tried this years ago and I can't hit like that. I just have to lead the old fashioned way
Had to change the name of the video eh?
?
1👍🇬🇧🍻
Very odd !
He cannot hold the gun correctly. But too low. Below the shoulder and too hunched up. So awkward. Don’t hold like he does.
Yeah he's only a previous world champion so clearly has no idea 🤣
brits using inches?!
Inches and miles, but litres and kilos.
Load of Bollocks
Yeah I've noticed Ed rarely hits anything 🤣🤣🤣

The trick is getting the brain, the trigger finger and the gun muzzle working together!
"slightly flawed"
Rubbish. "Gun speed" does not have a meaning to it. Follow through speed would be more appropriate.
