As a Canadian I really appreciated this taste test - I can get all those products in my local grocery store and I don't live in a largely populated area. Usually these taste tests are with products from the US or GB and aren't helpful for me. As always, great work Rose!
Eating the silk soy milk yogurt as I watch! I LOVE the soy yogurt (my fave vegan yogurt) from silk and am not a fan of the almond milk one. Macros for silk soy yogurt for 3/4 cup: 110 calories, 7 grams protein, 4 grams fat, 10 grams carbs.
I got a tub this week and it’s almost gone! I wish it had more protein tho. I’ve had protein vegan yogurt in Israel with 20g of protein for 3/4 cup and been dreaming about it ever since :( will stick with silk until they make one as good as that
The Oat based Riviera in Strawberry is amazing in flavor and the Coconut based Riviera in Coconut pineapple/ and passionfruit mango are absolutely incredible! Oh and the mini glass jar yogurts from Riviera are so worth trying the lemon flavor taste like pie.🤩🙏

no hate or anything bc i love rose so much. but one of the reasons why i love u rose, is that i always feel like you eat without thinking about numbers too much. u just eat what u want, what is good and what feels right for u. but recently there’s so many mentions of calories which could be triggering for people...or maybe i’m just sensitive to it as i have an ed. but i know rose is on her own fitness and health journey so i still watch and support bc i’m happy for her. just be safe everyone. love u all
Being Canadian, I like reviews of products made and/or available in our country. There are not enough youtube channels that do them. Maybe include the price too as that can be a big factor for many people. I am assuming the PC brand was the least expensive.
You know when you like a given content creator for their personality when you watch even those videos which are 100% based on products you will probably never try. And this was the case here. I live in EU so I have no access to any of these brands but I like your approach to life and humor so much I could nor resist (even though I should be prepping for classes right now). . I love the Maison Riviera plain coconut 😍 I use it as a sour cream too... just add a little lemon juice. I also used it for a greek night as a tzatziki! Just shredded a cucumber, squeezed the juice out, little lemon and fresh garlic 👌🏻

I am so glad you chose to go plain, because the flavored yogurts are so sugary and fruity flavored you can't really taste the tartness that yogurt is supposed to have. They are more like a fruit pudding. I like plain better, but haven't tried many. Curious about the oat based ones now. I really like the cashew yogurt from Forager. It is tart and rich and creamy as a plain yogurt should be. Stay warm! (it is crazy cold here in Chicago as well)
Love this video. Recently I bought the PC vanilla coconut yogurt for my son. He is on a low fodmap diet for IBS and he loves the PC vanilla yogurt. I add some home made granola and fresh fruit to the granola and he loves it for a snack. I have been wondering about the other yogurts and glad you did this video because I won't try the other brands. I did however try the oat yogurt and tossed it after a small taste. I knew my son would not like the texture or taste of the oat yogurt but I was pleased with the PC brand.

Omg I used to eat alpro ALL THE TIME when I lived in the UK.. it brought back my faith in vegan yogurts... I don't think it's available in Canada tho 😭😭😭
The lemon Riviera is sooooooooo good. I use to love the lemon one from Activia. I like the Riviera even more. PC is doing a great job lately, their cream cheese is awesome also.
The vanilla flavored SOY Silk yogurts are my favorite! They don't have that chalkiness (we don't have many other options where I live) I don't buy it often because they come in a number 5 plastic and I can't recycle that in my county. Also, those net bags for produce are made of plastic and are very difficult to recycle so if you can buy them without, it would be better. You can buy reusable produce bags on Etsy or at the container store. I would just be sure to wash them after each use.

Can you try mixing yogurts? I would be interested what the OAT and COCONUT together taste like? Does a brand just need to combine the best elements of each to create the Ultimate plant based yogurt?
my favs (in the US): - Nancy’s oat milk yogurt - Yoplait oui (coconut alternative) SO GOOD!! - Trader Joe’s cashew yogurts - so delicious vanilla!!! Only one i’ve tried that I didn’t like was the Trader Joe’s almond ones :-]
my favorite vegan yogurt is Forager's cashew-based yogurt. Not sure if it is available in Canada, but they have a good vanilla one, and also a High Protein one that is supposed to mimic Greek Yogurt. It's VERY tart lol but I usually mix maple syrup and sometimes protein powder into it to improve the taste!
Yoso has a soy milk yogurt and it has slightly more protein than the oat based one but idk if it's available in Alberta because it's an Ontario based company
Without watching yet or reading comments, my absolute favorite ive tried is the Riveria sweetened vanilla coconut yogurt ! I used to those the brand “yoso” was the best but riveria has that formula DOWN! So smooth without any after taste
I usually find the silk almond berry one to have the best flavour profile for me however, I recently got the Riveria lemon coconut milk yogurt on sale. I can’t wait to try it after this video 😋
At my local grocery store, they only have the soy and the coconut based yogurts. I've tried the almond from somewhere. I like the coconut ones the best if I'm eating it straight out of the cup. I like the almond ones better if I need to cook with it.
4:35 I absolutely looove tart yoghurts. Before going vegan I used to only eat these just before the expiry date as I preferred them to be tangy as opposed to mild :D However, it is totally a personal preference thing so I understand some people might not like it
Yes, more PC taste tests please! You really gotta try the vegan cheesecake (classic style not the chocolate ...or maybe try both and compare them!) My son is not a vegan but he loves it too. A nice treat once in a while. PC is really putting out great stuff - and a lot of times, much cheaper than bigger brands but taste better.
Riviera's fruit flavours are AMAZING. Just to add to the info in the video- coconut yogurts have saturated fat, whereas the Riviera Oat has zero fat at all- great choice for cardiovascular health.
I like the coconut Riviera although I haven't had every type and I do have flavours. I don't think I like the tartness of daiya, but I am going to have to try them again. How about soy yogurt for the protein? Umm that weird smell, that probiotic smell, isn't that the idea with yogurt? My guess is the others aren't active cultured. I had silk flavoured and it was delicious.
I've been on a kick of eating a serving of one of these yoghurts (currently I have some PC from the flashfood app) with frozen blueberries and a handful of granola. Decent breakfast.
Idk if they have it in Canada, but Lavva yogurt is my favorite. Super clean & healthy ingredients (ie none I can’t pronounce - good stuff) and no added sugars It’s hard to find ones in the US that are unsweetened or no added sugar. My only issue with vegan yogurts is all the sugar

I like that it's quite sour because it reminds me of regular yogurt and I don't enjoy the coconut based products. Korea just got plant-based Activia (it's coconut based) and my vegan and non-vegan friends tell me it tastes good because you can barely taste the coconut haha. I haven't tried it yet, tho.
You should try some soy yoghurt! It's the best , great flavour, high in protein and low in calories. If you can get the Alpro brand, I recommend that one

Excellent vegan yogurt review even though I don't have any of these brands in the UK. It's Alpro (Soya based), Koko(coconut based) and Oatly(Oat milk based) and there's a brand of Almond milk based one but I haven't seen it yet.
It's not just latticework of the net bags that's bad. If you pinch some of it between your fingers and rub, you'll notice tiny microplastic particles falling everywhere. That biz gets in our water and soil.

That plain Silk yogurt isnt great, but their flavored ones are good, especially vanilla! I have found that adding maple syrup makes it delicious though!
I actually paused this video went and got some yogurt to eat . My favorite non-dairy yogurt is Kite Hill by far although So Delicious is a close second. I tried the Silk one and after one bite threw it in the trash, and I don't like to waste food. Much love from Fate Texas!
My go to is the silk vanilla and the pc coconut vanilla. Whatever you do though, do not try the pc meatless tenders they were awful. Oh and a quick note silk also has a coconut yogurt too. If you do more taste tests, can you do vegan protein powders.
Great! I was just thinking about vegan yogurt yesterday. The ones I get are wonderful (oui coconut yogurt and so delicious coconut vanilla yogurt) but I just realized that they both have Only 1g of protein 😑

For the almond yogurt, you should try Activia's vegan yogurt. It's sweetened but it has less fat than Silk's one

My fave is the Rivera tbh! The PC I find lumpy but great for smoothies. It's my second fave though

Riviera is *the best* out there (coconut yogurt). I emailed them to thank them and they really appreciated it. The tartness is due to fermentation.

The liberte coconut yoghurt is pretty good too. A little harder to find then riviera. I’ll have to try that pc yoghurt!

PC plain yogurt makes a great sour cream alternative, and the silk almond is a great base for homemade tzatziki

Cut a small hole in the old orange bag and take out all the oranges. (Make sure to cut off the bar code tag. Next time in the store put the loose oranges in that bag and BOOM.

That plain Silk yogurt isnt great, but their flavored ones are good, especially vanilla! I have found that adding maple syrup makes it delicious though!
I actually paused this video went and got some yogurt to eat . My favorite non-dairy yogurt is Kite Hill by far although So Delicious is a close second. I tried the Silk one and after one bite threw it in the trash, and I don't like to waste food. Much love from Fate Texas!

The silk almond yogurt is actually one of my go tos. I have it with stevia and granola. The silk soy yogurt is best imo though
My go to is the silk vanilla and the pc coconut vanilla. Whatever you do though, do not try the pc meatless tenders they were awful. Oh and a quick note silk also has a coconut yogurt too. If you do more taste tests, can you do vegan protein powders.

Great! I was just thinking about vegan yogurt yesterday. The ones I get are wonderful (oui coconut yogurt and so delicious coconut vanilla yogurt) but I just realized that they both have Only 1g of protein 😑
those are the ones I buy, too! best taste and texture by far
