    hi! i absolutely love these tutorials, thanks so much for making art clay education accessible! one question: did i miss, why do you put the pieces on a mug warmer? does it dry them?

    If I wanted to, could I make a bigger piece like the first part of the second version and put the finding in that, for a more minimalistic version of this charm, rather than make the double snake layered donut shape? Or is the donut necessary for some technical reason that I missed?
