    Thank you for making this video with so many pretty snow flakes. I just looked at your current videos and I see several more nice snow flakes that I'm going to make. Thank you again. I like them and they will all look so pretty on my Christmas tree. I also give them away to my friends with a Christmas card. They like them too.

    Beautiful snowflakes! This video was difficult to hear at times and showing the work after completing 3 or 4 new stitches in the new round would be helpful. I'm a very visual learner and new to reading crochet patterns. Thank you for taking the time to video your work. I'm anxious to check your other videos.

    • @patboyd1587
      @patboyd1587 4 года назад +1

      Use as fine a yarn and hook as you can manage for a dainty snowflake, larger for a more roubust one. I like to starch them a bit and pin to dry.

    Yes, snowflakes are beautiful, but it's difficult to follow you. First of all, your fingers cover up the stich where hook is suppose to enter, and you start counting your stiches instead of telling the viewers for example "make eight stiches" so we don't have to wait until you get to next step.

  • @mariaelenavecchione2213
    @mariaelenavecchione2213 2 года назад

    Lovely snowflakes but your left thumb almost always covers the spot where you insert the hook into.

    I found Round 3 and 4 confusing as you went fast and I was unclear where hook was to go into the work. Also a repeat demonstration of this sequence would have helped as there is a lot to it, plus removing your thumb to show where you are exactly.
    I loved this one though, as after Round 2, this was also a star!

    • @BeautyCrochetStuff
      @BeautyCrochetStuff  2 года назад

    • @DeniseAshurst

      @@BeautyCrochetStuff sorry forgot that bit! :-) #4 I did struggle with #3 too.
      I am hard of hearing and have ADHF too, which doesn't help. I just watched the transition from #4 round 3 to 4 for the 5th or 6th time and finally may have got it.
      I have undone work a few times, as started this 4th round wrong. I think tiredness got in the way!

  • @deenalandstrom6924
    @deenalandstrom6924 7 месяцев назад

    When ending this proje t, you say to end it with a slip stitch to the first single crochet. And as I watch you do that step, the stitch you are putting the hook through does not look like a single crochet. I have watched it over & over a few times & my statement remains. It DOES NOT look like a single crochet. What is up with that?

    As I appreciate your time and effort in this tutorial, the audio is horrible. Also next time consider using black for the written instructions at the bottom of the video as it is almost impossible to read as it is. I'm not intentionally being negative but just trying to give helpful tips that will help your subscribers. God bless you and thank you for taking your time to create these tutorials.

    I believe it's snowflake three (probably all your snowflajes per your instructions), but you're messing me up when you say, "make two single crochets" as you are actually making 2 chains. Maybe you should watch your video & then edit it in order for people trying to follow along can actually FOLLOW ALONG. Please. Thank you.

    You are all so lucky to crochet this without any problems! When I try to go back for just a little bit, it takes me back right to the beginning!! This is very frustrating for me, and doesn't help me a bit. I'll have to delete this, and search for another tutorial that works correctly. Very disappointed!

    Wouldn't it maybe be easier to make a popcorn stitch as opposed to the "poof stitch"? And, no disrespect, but why do you insist on already finishing a stitch before the print is even up on the screen? Those of us (speaking for myself) trying to follow you are basically a step behind because you've already started a stitch and/or finished it. And your fingers/hands are so much in the way, we can't even see how exactly you are doing whatever step you're doing.
    Not only that, when you're speaking the instructions, you don't sound so sure of yourself. Like this is your first time making said project. (We) I am not learning very well from your 'teaching'.
