Very good tutorial. Will give it a try for sure. Currently making dozens of tassel angels...very quick little gifts for hospital patients i visit weekly.
Love it, i’m finding lots of snowflake patterns and tutorials and wondered what i would do with all these crocheted flakes, then you said Christmas! So Christmas cards it is!
Nice. Very easy and still very pretty. I am currently making lap blankets to donate to our seniors at the assisted living home in my town. We have 13 people with no family or friends and will not get a Christmas gift otherwise. I make a few of theses too to donate for their tree.
❄ I so excited that you make this snowflake tutorial! I wanted to make some snowflakes for Christmas, but was nervous to do so because they look so complex. Thank you❄
I did the angel worked on candy canes and a variety of different colored bells. Good luck with all your projects and thank you all for sharing. On with the snowflakes which I intend to add to my crocheted Christmas hats. They have become a family tradition.
I am starting Christmas gifts; making my daughter-in-law a nice winter scarf in an assortment of her favorite colors. Using this snowflake design with ( Caron Simply Soft party Snow Sparkle ) as an appliqué all over the scarf. Instead of a fringe on the scarf, I will crochet icicles with that snowflake yarn. I think it is going to look cute; hope she likes it.
Love this tutorial! Was thinking of making a little string of crochet snowflakes! I ended up doing this one but with a magic ring to start. Thanks for the tips!
Make it with cotton and starch it to make it hang well 😊. My mom made crochet ornaments.. I am teaching myself to crochet. I never sat still and learned when my grandma, mom and aunts crocheted all my childhood. Now at 68 when they are all gone I am teaching myself to crochet using RUclips. I am finally getting the tension and stitches somewhat consistent on single and double crochet. I would like to try this, but I am a bit intimidated. I think I will practice a bit longer then try it with cotton yarn. If it looks anything at all like a snowflake I will hang it on my tree 😊
One of the EASIEST videos to understand for me! I’m a knitter not crocheter but I want to make a Holliday project that needs them. Thank you so much for this video. I hope you have some other snowflake patterns that I can follow along with. I need about 5-7 different ones.
Loads of ideas for this delightful lil' craft! From my journals, as an appliques, on gift wrap, the possibilities are numerous. I shared it too. Thanks for the great tutorial ❣️✌️💜☮️🧶
Laura, I did actually think the white wool showed up better against your bluish background for the tutorial than the blue/silver wool but hey extremely clever. I ended up with 7 edges on my first one but was quite pleased for my first effort and will try again. Thank you so much.
Thank you for the tutorial! It was literally my second crochet creation ever. The lesson was very easy to follow, and I appreciate that you repeat the steps instead of just skipping to the next round. Got the count of the spokes wrong a bunch of times (my initial ring was too tight, so I couldn't see the spokes well), but I made it to the end and now have a beautiful little snowflake :D
I am a beginner. But I failed this completely lol- I think you should make a ABSOLUTE BEGINNER snowflake like the flower one, cause that one works perfectly for me and other beginners like me.
I also failed repeatedly at this one. The place I stumble is in minute 5:15 where the finishing spikes of the snowflake begin. It is unclear why the first slip stitch is in the chain 1 space, and there is a moment after the single crochet(dc in the UK) and the ch 2 where she turns the work without warning. I think that is where it all went wrong for me, lol. I had to watch 5 times before I caught the pattern and I still need to know why the work turns at that point.
Love this, you explained it very well, thank you. Cant waot to make more of these and whatever else you make. I really like how you went through it all slow and detailed. just subscribed
Excellent job on this snowflake. I've enjoyed success following many of your video's. Great camera work as well. Your the full package happyberry. With much appreciation...Happy Christmas
I love your patterns, Laura! Perhaps you could share with us how you use your projects in your home. Do you ever stiffen snowflakes? Thank you and have a wonderful holiday season.
Very nice, thank you! I think you left out the chain 3 and only did chain 5 at the end....🙃. My snowflake still looks nice!🥰Update: sorry, it was my mistake! After practicing another one I got it right!
This is great, thank you! I think this pattern will make into nice ornaments for my kiddo's teachers for Christmas presents! 🎄🎁😁 About how much yarn do you think per snowflake? I'm thinking of using I Love This Yarn's White Sparkle color.
Oh this is lovely, but I couldn't find the written pattern on your website (I think this would be a 4th version of your snowflakes?) perhaps I have missed it?
Did you know you can slow the video speed down using the little gear button after you click on the video? I find adjusting the video speed helpful sometimes.
This is a lovely snowflake but it is, unfortunately, pretty much impossible for me to see (I'm colour blind) even with my tinted glasses on. Perhaps using a darker yarn in this tutorial might work better for people with vision problems? btw I also signed up to your website.
Sorry you couldn't see the tutorial well. I did try by using a grey yarn instead of the white, but maybe the white would have been brighter, nvm. The written version will be available soon if you prefer.
This is too fast for an absolute beginner. I failed drastically. Kept rewinding and playing this video but still never got it. I think I need to find a class somewhere
Really pretty. You chain so fast though. I'd have to slow the video down. Maybe in tne future can you put the stitches in text on the video? For those who are visual instead of auditory learners. Otherwise what a beautiful Snowflake. :)
These are lovely. As someone said, nice to tuck into a Christmas card, or to decorate a gift. Thank you!

Thank you so much for your patience, repeating this all the way round, I've just made one and it's lovely!
I just made this. Thank you. Your video was so smooth and easy to follow along with. I really appreciated the repeating verbally of every step!
Thank you for this snow flake. I'm going to make some more and then connect them to make a throw.
❄ I so excited that you make this snowflake tutorial! I wanted to make some snowflakes for Christmas, but was nervous to do so because they look so complex. Thank you❄

Quick and easy. Love it. Making mine with 4wt yarn & G hook. Thanks for the pattern! 🧶
Super easy to follow instructions! Thank you for sharing this cute pattern.
I'm crocheting baby Christmas dresses. It will be deep red with a white collar. I wanted to put tiny snow flakes... Thanks for a simple pattern. 👏
Thank you SO much for the snowflake. As a beginner, learning how to do it has kept me sane whilst under lockdown!
Thank you for your help, you make it is so easy...

Thank you once again for another of your lovely patterns. Your tutorials are so clear and easy to follow. I appreciate your talent and dedication

I think a short explanation there would be very helpful for beginners.
I’d like to see a wreath, a Christmas tree, a star topper and a snowball!
To make a snowball
you make a ball with white yarn
Thank you for this tutorial, it is gonna help guide me for decorations for my business 😊

Beautiful , thank you xxx
How would you attach this to a crotchet blanket? Needle and thread?
Do you know how to do the Buffalo plaid stitch? Would love a tutorial on that!
The red cardinal is everywhere during the winter season here in Ohio, US. Do you have a crochet pattern for that red bird?
Do you have a crochet pattern for a snowman?
Thank you for sharing

Thank you.
Are you twisting your work when you slip stitch down the chain 5?
Oh this is lovely, but I couldn't find the written pattern on your website (I think this would be a 4th version of your snowflakes?) perhaps I have missed it?
I haven't added it yet. It should be available later today.
Would love you to make a Christmas present in all sizes if possible please thank you xxx
Is that even physically possible lol
I know you can design anything xx
round 3 got very confusing. It should slow way down at this point.
Did you know you can slow the video speed down using the little gear button after you click on the video? I find adjusting the video speed helpful sometimes.
Thank you! I didn't know that and i needed that part slowed down as well @maps630

When you said treble you did a double
