I hope you have fun making these snowflakes! This is a pretty snowflake and pretty quick and easy to make too 😍 IMHO I find the popping up of your face a distraction, it's much easier "for me" to concentrate on your hands, the crochet project, and your voice thank you for your time and artistry 👍
It's always nice to hear opinions on this so I can find the balance that works best for the most people 😊 I want these tutorials to be personable, but helpful. Thanks for sharing your perspective!
I like your pop ups...its cute to see you while youre working kind of like crocheting with your friend 🧡 . Great job. Thanks for the tutorial. Making a bunch!
Thank you for sharing ❤ This is such a beautiful snowflake pattern. Great for adding wooden beads at top and attaching to a gift or a crochet stocking 🥰 love it so much!
Thanks! I made it along with you and it turned out cute! Will be fun to make a few more while I’m getting snowed in tonight. ❄️😊 10/10 recommend anyone try this pattern.
the instruction on the blog for round 4 is incorrect. after the picot you written instruction is to chain 4 then sl into slst in previous round, instead of slst into the ch2 space. it was confusing so i had to come to your video to see if my suspicions were right lol
Just made my first one and have it blocking with a starch solution. I did modify the beginning and the number of stitches; basically followed your design on my third row onward.
This is the prettiest winter snowflake. Could you figure out a way to turn into a granny square block? I am not good at altering someone's patterns to suit my desires... sorry.
I have a general question that also applies to this project. When you join a chain to make a beginning ring with a slip stitch, why do you chain 4 to start instead of just double crocheting into the ring and then chain 1?
Usually you'd start with a chain so that the height of the first stitch matches the height of the rest of the stitches. So the chain three, is usually the same height as a double crochet, and the extra chain in this pattern is for a chain one space. Hope this helps!
Hi Brittany. Beautiful snowflake! It’s nice to see your face on the side of the screen during the tutorial. Nice feature! Yes, I could hear it immediately in your voice. I sure hope you feel better soon. Thanks for another great tutorial! Happy New Year!❤
Thank you, Thea! It's slowly coming back to normal 🙃 Thanks for your feedback on the new video format too! That's really helpful to know. It's so much easier to show and tell at the same time!

Sounds like a fun challenge!
@@bhookedcrochet Ooh, bless you. I had 2 strokes back-to-back a yr ago. My brain won't let me do the math needed now for designing.
So cute ❤

Love this snowflake so much! Curious why on the last round it’s chain 5 going up one side before the picos and ch 4 going back down?
Very pretty but telling us how many sts at the end of the rounds would be helpful❤
Why do you resemble Miss Rachel so much 😃
❤❤❤❤❤
