Nice! Thanks for sharing. I just wonder: 1) If you are in the Netherlands, why not wait till the early summer for the spawning? It is winter now. 2) What do you expect from this combination of parents? Thanks!
Yes, without filtration for about 2 days. Thereafter directly removed. I didn't really monitor it to be honest. I just changed water as much as I could. Which is way over 50% daily.
Cracking vid.Cant wait to see how fry turn out.
Me as well! Thanks!

Yeaa! :)
Nice video. How do you monitor the water quality when they spawn? I guess they live without filtration for about 2-3 days, right?

How old do koi have to be to breed?
Female around 3 years, male 2/2.5 years
@@Aboutkoi Thank you,
Spawning in Autumn?
It's from a little bit earlier 🙂
What varieties do you expect from this breed?
Goshiki fry I hope ;)
The female is pure Matsukawabake isn't it? And the male pure sanke?
The female is a goshiki that lost all colour.
Male both Sanke indeed
@@Aboutkoi I hope you will get your nice result. I love kuro goshiki too.
Fingers crossed!
Why not just manually extract eggs n sperm????
That would have been an option as well. This is easier and better for the koi if you ask me!
