Went to Monaco 🇲🇨 for the second time in 2020 just by chance I drive past the spot in the hills outside Monaco where she died on her anniversary.Said a little prayer for her .My mother still idolises her from when she was a teenager in the fifties.
RIP Princess Grace .
Always so gracious. She is still terribly missed.

I watched a doco last night on this lady,born in america to a family that was weallthy dad was a bricklayer but done rather well the house had servents 2 sisters and a brother. her dad also was a athlete oursman

how does a woman from Philadephia have a house of windsor accent?
She sounds American to British ears, but she was from a time when certain Americans spoke much closer to upper class British Received Pronunciation. She was raised rich and posh, she was privately educated, as an actress in her time she would learn diction and precise speaking, she also played English in several roles and worked with many British both in front of and behind the camera.
whenever they have a film star as a guest they spend more time on the music to their films and less on their actual desert island disk choices.
