    Wow, what a hassle to add a lower third. This should be included in pro. Hope it's coming soon feature.

      We understand it's not ideal, but stay tuned for features coming later this year...

      @@Riversidefm How soon? Deciding If I want to spend the extra cash and the time to learn a new software or just wait a little more to see what you guys add.

    It would be beneficial for the platform to support this natively so that live streams could have the custom animated/static lower thirds and stingers, but that the raw underlying video feeds of hosts/guests is still raw for post-production.
    Would you consider that in your roadmap? ... do you publish your roadmap?

      @joshuaberrios Год назад +4

      Wholeheartedly agree.
      I would love for Riverside to support overlays natively. Native overlays + the all new editing feature = 90% of my post production process already done before touching an editing software. The other 10% will just be to perform audio post production.

      That feature has certainly been requested multiple times. Keep an eye on the channel as we have numerous features coming soon!

      I DEFINITELY agree on this, having this extra features natively on riverside will be such a powerhouse for the software. Let's go!

      I am going to use a competitor because no editing on iPad app or even safari on iPad…. And no way to add overlays natively.

    Totally didn’t answer my question it would be great is not an answer it’s a hope. Can I use the media to upload video during a discussion or not ?

      You can upload video files to the media board and play those back during a recording, yes! You can learn more about that here: ruclips.net/video/5enfGG6noWY/видео.htmlsi=jvofZTKK7AdqN5yn&t=269

    Hello!
    I’m looking into using Riverside for a online multiplayer gaming stream or two. My main question wasn’t quite answered by this video.
    Yes we can record webcams and screens as separate but synced files. Yes we can have them formatted and output for Video or Shorts format. Yes we can include or exclude sources in post production for any reason.
    But can we overlay webcams over our gameplay within Riverside itself, or would we need to export to a program like HitFilm?
    For visual examples:
    1. There are four players on Super Smash Bros. I want to put their webcams in the four corners over a single player’s video feed.
    2. There are two people playing Baldur’s Gate 3. I position the two screens so there is overlap in the center, and each player’s webcam is in the dead space next to their screen.
    3. Something epic happened in the BG3 that is Short-worthy. So I reformat for a verical screen by having each screen take up half the screen vertically, with each player’s webcam in a corner of their half-screen.

      Hey! For that you would either need to use something like the ATEM Mini Pro switcher that has picture-in-picture overlay support and it can send that signal to Riverside. Or you can use OBS with NDI video to Riverside for that effect.

  • @TommyWalker1

    Can I do something similar with OBS if I've got two people in the call?

    • @Riversidefm
      @Riversidefm  17 дней назад

      OBS will only overlay graphics on *your* video feed, not your guest. But we now have lower thirds built-in to the Riverside studio for live streams, you can see those here: ruclips.net/video/yCFjTN1RBrk/видео.html

  • @peacefulbeginnings521
    @peacefulbeginnings521 8 месяцев назад

    you show this for OBS with one person how do we add overlays using OBS or any other external software with a guest and also how do we add switcher so the person speaking is on screen alone. I would also like to upload video for me and my guest to discuss. I can't find any videos on any of this

      The media board would be great for uploading videos to play during a recording. And for overlays on guests, etc., stay tuned!
