@@theotokosnotredame2880 even other prayers of the Church were all in Syriac language as it's the official and holy language of the Church... Eg:- Sapra, Ramsha, leliya etc. later only it was translated to the vernacular language.

Our ancestors actually used proto tamil
No ancestors were using Suriyani language for the holy qurbana,.. till the 2 Vatican council it's said to be in Syriac language in the Church.
