Proud to be a Syriac Orthodox Christian (Jacobite)! If it wasn't for our Church, Malankara wouldn't know this Liturgy and tradition. Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch introduced the West Syriac (Antiochene) Rite to Malankara that 4 Churches (outside of the Patriarchal, Mother Church) are using.

@@bijogeojose7209 Aboon Mor Gregorios Abdel Jaleel Bawa (Syriac Orthodox of Jerusalem) responded to the cries of Malankara post Coonan Cross Oath. The Syriac Orthodox Church of Antioch brought the West Syriac Rite to Malankara. If it wasn't for our Church, your Malankara Catholic Church wouldn't have the current tradition you are following.
