I agree with what you said about not generalising the statements of a public organisation as the opinion of the public however I want to shed some light on the fact that such public organisations act as the representatives of the national opinions regardless of whether anybody agrees with them or not. Therefore, it is undoubted that such statements would impact relationships of countries and people within them. Such organisations should be brought under public scrutiny and should not be funded by the tax money if they do not care about the national opinions and this is the job of the citizens of the state such organisations claim to represent.

This organization apparently did some election favors for Bill Clinton who then gave them a Federal status. 2. In its body, it has representation of all the major faiths but one(to justify its grand name). Guess which faith is missing in its managing body? Yes, it is Hinduism. The USCIRF also vets all books on religion in the US before publication to remove any material that may seem offensive. There is systemic religious politics going on in our country since the past 6-7 years which the average American and Canadian would not know about or have experienced. Our own Prime Minister himself has said in a campaign speech in New Delhi in December 2019 "you can identify the protestors by their clothes"... Signalling to people that Muslims are protesting (against a discriminatory law along with many Hindus and Sikhs etc) and they can be recognised by their clothes, basically "othering" them. Our PM and leadership have no moral authority left to try and unite the country especially after this dog whistling statement. We have discriminatory laws that have been passed criminalising the eating of beef which is the meat of choice for the poor. Cow trading helps poor farmers earn some money after a cow has stopped giving milk. Farmer suicides is an ongoing evil here still not addressed by this govt, except with repeated empty promises. We also have the discriminatory law, the Citizenship Amendment Act which discriminates against illegal immigrants on the basis of religion, where only Muslims and Jews are left out. And then we had the brutal mob lynchings of poor Muslims on the basis of suspicion of trading in beef and no justice to those families, instead the lynchers were felicitated by ministers. Lately the Covid19 battle has been used to discriminate against Muslims, where if Muslim students are stuck in their religious schools' hostels it's said that they are in hiding and spreading the virus and if Hindu students are stuck at their hostels it's presented as poor things they are stuck and can't go home. This channel Wion News is also funded by the ruling party and all of their funded news channels find ways to vilify Indian Muslims day in a day out. These journalists and those politicians are baking their daily bread on the burnt bodies of Muslims. It's the lowest form of politics. Divide and rule.

I'm an Indian studying in US and I can confirm there is some amount of inherent racism/bias. Some of it is clearly visible, other is that invisible elephant in the room. Probably they haven't interacted with internationals before but that isn't an excuse for the attitude they have. Of course, not all people are such, don't get me wrong. But there is a bit of bias. Me and my roommate were the only International students on the floor. Everyone talked to one another but were hesitant to talk to us. They would talk with us well when we initiate a conversation but otherwise it's like they prefer not to.

We were here long before most of our European counterparts because we had no choice. Yet European Americans think they own not just the US, but the world. My European ancestors came to America long after my African and indigenous ancestors.
Many countries worship their colonizers. It's always strange seeing white people enjoy our music, food, idolize our athletes, take our inventions and tan their skin to be more like us.
Even though China (mostly) wasn't one of those colonizes countries, with the exception of HK and Macau, their white worship knows no bounds. I lived in China for 7 years and saw it first hand. But especially now the thought of returning is frightening. The level of ignorance there is understandable especially in a country where access to truth is hard to come by and news stories are a few propoganda based tales. But ignorance is even worse when it comes from countries like the US where the truth is at your fingertips.

I agree with what you said about not generalising the statements of a public organisation as the opinion of the public however I want to shed some light on the fact that such public organisations act as the representatives of the national opinions regardless of whether anybody agrees with them or not. Therefore, it is undoubted that such statements would impact relationships of countries and people within them. Such organisations should be brought under public scrutiny and should not be funded by the tax money if they do not care about the national opinions and this is the job of the citizens of the state such organisations claim to represent.

1. This is basically a Christian missionary organization with a hugely pretentious name. This organization apparently did some election favors for Bill Clinton who then gave them a Federal status.
2. In its body, it has representation of all the major faiths but one(to justify its grand name). Guess which faith is missing in its managing body? Yes, it is Hinduism. The USCIRF also vets all books on religion in the US before publication to remove any material that may seem offensive. However, books on Hinduism by the many Hinduphobic academics are given complete freedom. This is why you find such rubbish coming out by the likes of Wendy Doniger and her many many students.
3. Because of its long-standing bias against India, India has barred them from coming to India to do surveys. This has angered them even more.

Lately the Covid19 battle has been used to discriminate against Muslims, where if Muslim students are stuck in their religious schools' hostels it's said that they are in hiding and spreading the virus and if Hindu students are stuck at their hostels it's presented as poor things they are stuck and can't go home. No one can stop seeking validation from the west. After all they are the most developed and white people. The RUclips we are using is their Discovery. Cars, Television, Air Conditioner everything we use were invented by them. We follow their culture, their dressing code, everything. So it is natural for us to seek validation from them. Go find about NRC in Asam even the genuine citizens could have been excluded if they don't have so called "documents" of belonging before 1971 some of which have been damaged in 1987 blood. If the citizens get excluded the Hindu, Cristian, Jain etc will get it back through CAA. What about the Muslims?

In India, where climate is more suitable for agriculture allowing them to start civilizations very early. These are geographical advantages allowed India to remain as one of the oldest continuous civilizations. We are not saying we are better than rest. But we surely don't need advice on religion. I'm an Indian studying in US and I can confirm there is some amount of inherent racism/bias. Some of it is clearly visible, other is that invisible elephant in the room. Probably they haven't interacted with internationals before but that isn't an excuse for the attitude they have. Of course, not all people are such, don't get me wrong. But there is a bit of bias. Me and my roommate were the only International students on the floor. Everyone talked to one another but were hesitant to talk to us. They would talk with us well when we initiate a conversation but otherwise it's like they prefer not to.
As an American, I’m sorry about their reluctance to talk to internationals. I notice it too. It’s like they don’t know a lot about other countries, so they are afraid to look stupid/don’t know what to do? I don’t know. Anyways, how are you liking the U.S. so far?!
