Are you saying they grow faster in low light? Also are you also saying you put in sump with no light or is there are refugium light? I am investing in expensive jawbreakers so want to get it right! I am thinking of starting a frag tank for all my shrooms and zoas I am collecting but I am fearing it being a new sytem they may do better in my established tanks! I just dont have room for all I am getting plus future babies! How can I get rid of bristle worms in my tank? 20 gallon and 36. is a wrasse good for that is my 20 gallon to small for wrasse. i do about 40 % waterchanges every 2 weeks. Should I dose iodine? Until I get an ato I cant seem to keep skimmer working so might be why my nitrates are 15 to 20. Did you say Iodine lowers nitrates? I want to dose iodine but worrys me since I use gfo and keep po4 around 0.03. Could that be a problem or should I discontinue gfo and dose iodine daily for nutient control! So confused! Especially if iodine is in salt and I do a waterchange. Should I not dose it right after waterchange? Please help! I dont want o loose my 4k investment in shrooms!

I had this issue once with the white stuff coming out. It didn't like me either touching it or moving it, bout a week later I had 2 of them.
so I thought the white stuff was spawning..... I guess not they both still with me attached to the same rock. they haven split since but I haven't moved them either.
Autastic reefing probably popped out babies. ;)

I thought iodine was toxic in aquariums and that you are supposed to dose Iodide? I have never heard of dosing iodine. That part of the video came out of nowhere. DO you dose it for pest or for boosting the health of the coral/corals?
Jeff Evrard hey Jeff. Iodine supplementation is nothing new in the hobby. Many companies like two little fishes and brightwell has been selling them for a while. Salt contains iodine as well. Your nems and soft corals will thank you for iodine supplementation. Ofcourse do not dose blindly but test before dosing anything

Jeff Evrard no problem at all. Salifert makes excellent iodine test kits. Red sea has them as well.
