Agree. They played it with understanding and wonderful rapport. How do we get to experience more of their playing? They are an excellent duo. Bravo!
These two women know how to get into the dark place it takes to play this piece. Technical excellence isn't enough.
In this intensely expressive performance, music becomes a shared human experience full of Images, ideas, conversations, even jokes. Love love love.
Beautiful!!!
Really is wonderful!!!
Very, very interesting. Do performers have an album? I'd be glad to buy it.
+Vladimir Kazanov Fantastic! Bravo! I remember you both playing this in Lausanne back in 2009. :)

Thanks God - no Asian copy-machines
One of the best music in the world and one of the best performances on this opus. Unbelievably beautiful/powerful/emotional/moving/deep performance.
Very good. Plenty of gravitas. From which country are they?
I know I'm super late, but Latvia.
Thanks, CV.
@@snabeyratne You're welcome.
Latvian. They perform as "Duo Extatique". What a wonderful performance -- puts Oistrach to shame! I can't believe someone clicked "thumbs down".
Phonemenal performance, phenomenal recording! Where can I buy it in a high resolution lossless format?
