That last bit, he built a lot of visual tension with the deliberate pace, and then used the flagrant lack of gun safety and trigger control to add to our unease, so you knew viscerally where the story was going and all you can do is subconsciously try to will it not to. Excellent use of tension and pacing. Alfred Hitchcock would be proud I think.
Ren and his universe is really what art needed, I can't even telle what art, because he's not just music, he's really much more. He completely changes the game, awesome artist. Without any major and marketing team helping. His work is just Masterclass.

But as we know, he's playing in so many lanes and comfortable in all of them. I hear he has a couple of new Chinchilla collabs dropping real soon. An absolute treasure!

Bibi. It’s an older song from before Ren was finally correctly diagnosed with Lyme disease and was written after a breakdown following multiple emergency trips to the hospital. Aileen, I love how much you feel and convey the emotion you have when watching this. This is his masterpiece. He put a ton of effort into this one. It was his most ambitious undertaking to date, and what he created is pure art that will live on for many years to come. Ren isn’t a singer, a rapper, a multi-instrumentalist, an actor, or even someone who care so deeply about the world, he is all of these and so much more. He is a one in a generation talent and we are just so lucky to be able to experience his art as it’s happening.

Good to see you back on the RUclips, Aileen! Yeah, I agree with everything you said about Ren, from the theatricality and the storytelling to feeling lucky to be around to witness Ren's talent. It does feel like a privilege to exist at the same time as certain artists like Ren, Dimash, etc. When people are so good at their art and craft, it transcends the usual experience of engaging with media. I've heard songs from plenty of other artists that are only 3 minutes long yet feel like they drag, and I find myself bailing out early because I just can't be bothered to keep listening. Ren, on the other hand, has this magical ability to put out 9 or 10 minute songs that feel like they're over way too quickly. You look up halfway through (as you did here), realize 4 1/2 minutes have already passed, and are surprised because it doesn't even seem possible. He just pulls you into the story so deeply, time just melts away. Dude is just on another level. Anyway, great reaction, as always! Always take breaks when you need them - RUclips burnout is a real thing and, even without it, life just sometimes needs to be the priority - but it's good to see you back at it and get to share some music time with you.

Money Game 2 is my favorite lyrically but 3 is akin to his "Tales" trilogy and it's on par, performance wise, with "Hi Ren". Ren wrote ALL of the music for 3, including the orchestral parts. He said he practiced quite a bit to get the piano intro right. He also said that this isn't precisely a one take, it has a single cut in it, but it had to due to some logistical and time constraints. He explained it all in his Twitch live stream after the video dropped.

Watched multiple Ren videos liked every song.Not sure I've seen the first two parts of Money game. Though it's probably a similar theme about life priorities, influences from society and family. The expectations they have or want from you or think they have of you, how it affects a person. A person's self understanding needing a change, not getting to a point of being lost.

Watched multiple Ren videos liked every song.Not sure I've seen the first two parts of Money game. Though it's probably a similar theme about life priorities, influences from society and family. The expectations they have or want from you or think they have of you, how it affects a person. A person's self understanding needing a change, not getting to a point of being lost.
