    can’t believe jeep doesn’t make a lift like this, I like this approach vs the ceiling lifts.

    From a 1 person standpoint, I'm glad a small business stepped up and made a product like the one you have. If I'm not mistaken, i think there's a revision or 2 version's of that lift. Cheers guy's 🍻

      @@AL_1547 yeah I don’t know. I just looked again if you follow his link it’s a completely different model and it’s $949. The one that he shows in this video I went to a page and it was only 249 or something like that.

    We just built our top lift pro this morning and it was four and a half hours of pure hell… we did get manual but we might as well have had no manual with the amount of help it gave as it was just as bad if not worse than the videos provided by the company. Got it together and like you said it works great but still a pain in the ass to build

    Just got my Top Lift and put together yesterday. I did have good instructions. The pieces are well made and can’t wait to use for our annual trip to the beach. At 68, I needed a one person solution to remove the top on either my TJ or JL.

    Great video. Were there any clicks left when you lifted the top? Seemed to drag when you pulled it off.

    I agree with you on the Installation Instructions. I struggled with getting the Hand Cable adjusted correctly. I actually did put a Rubber Vacuum Cap on mine, since it was way too close to my hood, when I parked under it. I may actually cut it off, since the Top Section of the Unit will never ever go that low.
    I have since upgraded to the TᴏᴘLɪғᴛ Pʀᴏ:Vᴇɴᴛᴜʀᴇ Pʀᴏ, because I have a small 1 Car Garage and this Unit has a smaller footprint in regards to the Base Width. Also, the Legs are adjustable and I just tuck them in when not in use.

    for whatever reason, mine was too high to get inside and under the hardtop of my 2-door stock Jeep Willys... I remove the pins at the bottom and that helped get it lower to fit - hoping the weight of top keeps it still connected

    Nice job, Very informative review. I thought about this for my Bronco, but I like the positive reviews over at Rolln Jack much better... and there are a lot of them. Not quite as expensive, very easy to assemble- in other words if you've assembled IKEA furniture in the past..the Rolln Jack should be a breeze. I prefer the crank motion rather than "push down" lever type operation- I feel it's a bit more gentle allowing me to dictate the amount of pressure I want to use lifting my hardtop without the risk of damaging it. Very sturdy design, yet simplistic. My on-order bronco hasn't arrived yet, but I'm extremely optimistic my Rolln Jack will exceed my expectations- not just from my opinion but from all the positive reviews it received.

    Nice video. I was looking at this for my wranglers a few years ago. The 1k price was a turnoff. I bought a electric hoist from HF for about a hundred. Added plus is I can move stuff easily to my attic above the garage

    • @EastCoastJeepSRT

    So I wish you had brought camera around when you actually were pushing it into the vehicle. I wanted to see where you did that adjusting. Also very cool idea for the hangers in garage for each door 👍🏼 I’ve yet to take my top off as I live in Chicago and no garage to store it 🤨

  • @AZRubicon1
    @AZRubicon1 Год назад +2

    This is WAY too expensive and given the PIA you say it is, the same money could be spent to put the manual/drill-drive roof lift like I have in my video. AND you get storage with it. Those tiny rubber stoppers that extend look like they need to be bigger to disperse the pressure. It just move way too much for me, bouncy = scary and costly. I was considering this to just pop mine off and then roll under my lift but after this, nah! TY for the info, saved me $900+!

    • @EastCoastJeepSRT

    I just lift mine off by hand and put it in the barn. Don’t have all that fancy concrete, so a roller hoist would not work. But life at 10,200 ft on a 100 acre ranch means my Rubicon ain’t as shiny flashy as y’all. But have a fantastic day “mall crawling”.

    • @EastCoastJeepSRT
      @EastCoastJeepSRT  6 месяцев назад

      Hey Cleetus, we don’t “Mall Crawl” around here. Now I know you’re entire identity is built around the myth that you’re some badass country bumpkin that thinks they know dick from Dagwood, but Gomer you’re fragile masculinity is on full display here with a comment like that. Ohhhh noooo, he lifts it off by hand everyone! So did all of us until we used our brains. If you weren’t so desperate for attention on the internet you’d invest in a piece of wood to roll the jack on to make life easier. Instead, you’re not bright enough to figure out such a simple task so just go back to your barn and chew some hay with the other dumb animals in there.
      You really thought you just did something spectacular here didn’t you. 😂 #clown
