So yeah, cheers, and here's to more good music, memories, and stuff!
This is such a nostalgic track. This is peak soundtrack creation. Simple, daunting, melencholy, epic, sinister and instills the mood to fight for survival, overlapped with the sounds of your charcaters unleashing their moves on your opponents. So few epic tracks came out after brawl. There were some but none innovative or memorable as some of the melee and brawl ones.
Looking back at this it was hyrule temple not hyrule castle or the temple of time. But I also wonder if it was foreshadowing certain events or ideas from twilight princess and skyward sword
@@niklasneumann2595 Oh yeah, I was in middle school back in 2002. Amazing time to be alive! No social media to distract from the games. The only distraction was the pizza and wings mom would order for our little gang.
It's weird how I can hear all these awesome tracks for the first time in Melee, then go and play the games they were originally in, then come back and have my mind blown all over again!
Ahh yes I remember buying the Gamecube on a hot summer's day not long after it came out and I got Melee with it as a special offer, fantastic game so it is even yet.
You know, my school is having a Super Smash Bros. Melee tournament, and all matches will be played on this map. This gives me one more reason to love this theme (it was also my first GC game!)
Played this on the gamecube recently for the nostalgia I would stay up all night with my older brothers and play this stage all night and the games would last forever. Kirby was broken on this stage.. almost impossible to kill
"Hyrule Temple. This must be the place." "You're probably wondering what's going on. You see, I'm not Mario. I'm not any character of the sort. I'm a gamer, just like you." "Today, I was invited to a Smash Bros. tournament. But, I find it's weird that no one's here. Oh well. Someone's gonna show up eventually."
this music makes me great in battles, the adrenaline flows through my body when i hear it and the level was... is the best, as its not over too soon, and you can survive pretty well i always play as kirby when i play a smash bros game
When I was reeeaaaally young I always played Peach because my older male neighbours said we look alike and that was the criteria while they beated me over and over again, in this particular stage. When brawl came out we still fought on this stage but I found ny love for Pit and beated all of them haha, these memories. We always played this arena, like really always. Learned a lot about video games here.
Man all the memories with this map, all the 2 v 2’s I had with my apartment childhood friends, makes me wanna buy one and play with my two sisters and lil bro
This is the real and only true fight club, down there. The whole stage is either, by some random chance or by pure game designing genius, the most finely crafted stage of the entire series
I will be real, this is where it is at. I think it sparked interest in the never die stages for brawl as well. The true Hyrule Fight Club, is down in the underground friends. In smash bros. Brawl, there is this event match. You play as ganondorf, and have to take the triforce from Zelda, Pit/kid icarus, and Link. You play on this stage. It is almost imperative to play down here. You will get owned anywhere else otherwise. Just the perfect spot when your damage gets to high. Sometimes you get a lucky hit and people just fall. Just such a memorable stage.
This and the F-Zero stage music brings me back good memories of trying to unlock everything as a kid, just got a new set of controllers and disc after finding my Wii :,)
Noice. Hopefully you had a good time yo. I recently was itching to play some smash bros. brawl. Not as good as melee, but still pretty kick ass. And this stage is in there to. I love all the smash bros games to be honest. But melee will always be my favorite one. Just so iconic.
That little area at the bottom was where legendary battles are born between your friends, and if someone goes there at the start, it means they want a real fight the best you got
I got mine because I wanted to play Luigi's Mansion (back when I was six and everyone thought it was scary as shit because they were in first grade) but I never ended up actually getting it and got Paper Mario instead. Still don't have Paper Mario eight years later. I got Wind Waker tho =3
This game tops the rest of the smash bros. This is where shit got real, can't run away once you're cornered. The memories of trying to beat my older brother, even if we played today, he'd still beat me.
best moment of my life of beating my older god brother with mario at his birthday party with all of his friends there to i didn't wanna look like the casual pleb who mained link so i picked mario and it was down to me and him and i threw that mine bomb in the ground leading to under the castle and he stepped on it and blew off the right side of the map, he was playing roy and we were both over 200% dmg it was insane felt so good when i was like 8 or 9 beating him when he was 12 or 13 at his own B day party!!!
#1 area for melee fights
This is one of the most unbalanced stages in the game....
sonicstars2 Yes it is, but i still find pretty fun to play on it once in a while...
sonicstars2 no matter how unbalanced it is, it's unforgettable and huge.

Great progression. Lovely melodies. So frantic and melancholic too. Epic
