Mrs Soap and Clay, are you ok?I m concerned, you didnt post in 9 days.I hope you just needed a break and everything is fine.Thank you for the amazing job you are doing,i m learning alot from you💐
I just used evaporated goats milk today, I diluted it with distilled water 50/50. Used for my extra water, and it went well. 😅 It was the first time I tried it, and I’m glad I made it before I watched this. Because I definitely would have chickened out!!! When they evaporate milk, does the natural sugar content condense too? Thank you for all your content, I’m a newbie, and have been learning sooo much from you. You should definitely do some soaping workshops, you have a gift! And you’re definitely my type of person, I get your humor 😂, and I love the science knowledge, it helps me so much! It’s better than just pop this into this, and look a perfect bar of soap. You are a natural teacher, funny as heck, and kind for sharing with all!
My mum is English and we used a lot of evaporated milk. Made our rice pudding with it, and I still use it in pumpkin soup. Babies were also fed using it.
When I made my goat milk soap, I had heard that milk soaps smell bad when making it so i prepared myself. But I actually didn't mind the smell of it lol
This was fun and informative❤ Ive used heavy cream in soaps. I love the lather and skin feel, but had issues with discoloration and seizing. Also, that ammonia smell. Im glad it wasn't a "me" thing😂 I put the heavy cream in my fats and have less issue with discoloring and cat pee smell. Ive learned to not try and fight the smell with anything sweet. It made it worse! I had to melt it all down. Lavender did better. Pine, ceadar also works well. Musk also made a nice clean smell. Im wondering about the sugar? Milks have sugar. I add sugar to my soap as well, less with milk. Could that lead to the super hot, seizing batter? Im very curious about the sweetened condensed milk. That was going to be my next try, and omit the extra sugar. Thank you so much for sharing and experimenting and teaching us all!❤❤
you left one out you need to make a sweetened condensed milk LOL ah just saw the ending where you talk about your project soapway LOL will see how it goes can't waiit.
Holy moly!! The soap was interesting, the storm part, not good at all! Glad that you are okay. Nature is kicking everyones butt these days. Our province has been nailed with forest fires, and residents of our beautiful Jasper National Park are finally able to go home. Many lost everything, and that's heartbreaking.
That looked so nasty 😂😂😂. It looked like the sugar caramelized and cooked itself into a... something 😂. Can't wait to see sweetened condensed... I'm picturing very high temps...
So I just want to say your members only thumbnail shows you’re in a big hot mess of a lot of work. I haven’t wanted to bother you because I know you’re so busy. But it’s been a very long time and I just want you to know my thoughts are going towards you and your family almost every day and I truly hope all is well or getting to be all well soon ❤️ I really miss your videos and hope you can come back to us soon 🥰
Haha it can totally be darker than normal milk! I’ve never used evaporated milk that isn’t beige or yellow - I think it’s based on manufacturing processes.
It’s been a WEEKEND! Screw you, weather forecast people.
Glad you and your family are okay, sorry about your 👠 👡👢
It’s an excuse to shop, really. 😂

Love your fearlessness in soapmaking. 🙏 Much respect ❤
I always freeze my milks
Many cooks put canned milk in boiling water to make Leche or caramel sauce. I wonder if the high temperature caramelized the milk?

I used evaporated milk! It worked pretty well for me, but yeah, mine got a bit chunky. 😂
Holy cats!!
I'm glad that you are all OK! 😮

Yikes! Glad y'all are okay.
Evaporated milk is used in pumpkin pie
Ohhh that explains why it’s never used. We don’t do pumpkin around here. Mr is a pie snob

Mrs. Soap&Clay are you ok? Hope you guys are alright. Can you please post something to let us know what is going on?
She is cool,I like this channel
My lye smelled like hair dye. 😂
Ha! What kind of dye?
@@MrsSoapAndClay cheap box dye. Which of course, usually contains ammonia.

Nature is on one this year, that is for sure. It makes me sad when I hear that places are burning. 💜
Lye burger yum yum yum!
Me, wondering if that’s why McDonald’s burgers apparently don’t rot. 😂
@@MrsSoapAndClay 😆😂🤣
What will you do with this soap? 😅😂

It totally looked like food I’ve had before. And it grossed me out. 🤪
8 years old?!? That can’t be good. After just a few years, mine was no bueno. It was starting to turn brown and syrupy.
Yeah the expiration was for 2024. 😂

Weird
Really weird.
Yeah… it’s not supposed to be yellow.

@@MrsSoapAndClay could be.
