You're absolutely right. This laptop has a faulty design and suffer from a display blur issue for most of the non Microsoft apps. This probably happens because of the absence of the dedicated graphics card.
@@killersberg1 I agree with you to a certain extent. Sometimes it can be resolved by going to app properties > compatibility > troubleshooting > set high display dpi. However, this troubleshooting fails for certain platforms such as Google Chrome. This problem was not there with Windows 7, I agree.
If this uses a 1080p screen, try setting display scaling to 100% or 200%. In my experience the middle steps cause a lot of blur. The reason is not the missing dgpu, because a dgpu would not drive the main screen in such a device for power saving reasons. @@killersberg1 I have tried many solutions and found that most of the softwares are not upgraded according to Win 10 or Win 11. I also wonder why Google Chrome suffers from such problems. The problems of blurry screen with Google chrome can only solved if they provide an update fixing this issue.

Have you tried the new Spectre 13 X360 latest generation?
The one with speakers at the back of the laptop))))
I have not, is it much better? How is the sound?
@@updated4222 the one you are reviewing is with speakers at the front ? Meaning 4 speakers in total ?
Model of 2018-2019..
Do you mean 2020 Model?
How much does it cost?
Is it good for software development
You didn't give us any details on the computer. What year is it from? What configuration do you have (memory, GPU, etc)?
Hi! I just shared my experience about the usage, maybe I will make a more pro version of the video
@@updated4222 I would be very interested in this
you linked different variants, you reviewed uhd gpu not 1650, what panel screen is the reviewed model, which gen stylus is it :c
:)
what laptop would you recommend for casual video editing with the same size/build as this one?
I think a one that has a better video camera but not sure about a specific model
Hp specter 14 ea0541 is worth buying? It will last for atleast 7-8 years ?
the best and all round latest laptop I set eyes on
:)
if you have to choose between the MacBook pro and the HP which one you choose?
I would go with HP
How do you get to unfreeze?
Mine just froze on my this month around
10:00 am I was on my light room to edits photos. So you said your has frozen. How did you get it to unfroze . Do I just let the battery light die ?
I forced to shut it sown holding the power button
How do you feel about the battery life? I've heard the battery most likely gets to 4-5 hours max.
no its a max of 11-12 hours i suppose
@@shane739 Really? Have you tested the battery yet?
the battery lasts 10 hours solid
in a super saver mode I would say
What laptop would you recomment for engineering?
Hey! I am sorry, I cannot provide you with such info at the moment
🙄Why do people insist on using the pen to scroll or to write on the screen upright
:)
Was there any games that you could run, possibly on low graphics, well enough for light gaming?
Yes, for sure!
Yes!
Dude there's 1050 ti and 1650 versions,good for gaming
after 2 months theres a horizontal and vertical line on my screen that doesnt go and it seems to be affected by the picture color on top of it im not sure how to fix it i tried all possible ways to fix it without replacing the screen but so far didnt work.. i guess i have to replace it :( HP has bad quality, lesson learned
I am sorry to hear that:(
I am thinking should I go for macbook pro or HP??
please need some advice
It is up to you, depends on a software you are planning to use!
Last year's model in April 2020? Really handy for people if you put the year in the title. Misleading.
Ok, thank you for the suggestion!
I am currently looking for the best windows laptop and when I look at the review comments for the top brands all of them have issues, so which windows laptop is good in performance and no issues?
Nice design laptop but not for professional use. Not high enough quality. I recommend something like HP Elite Dragonfly. Much lighter, much more durable and almost as beautiful.
thanks for this. is there a lot of fan noise?
Thank you for the review! No, hardly ever some
By the means of not recommended for editing, does it include making comics? Like can this laptop be a substitute for wacom? Or not?
it all depends on a specific version, meaning what kind of video card you have. With mine standard one any video editing are limited.
The newest is HP Spectre x360 15 2020
:)
I selected mini gaming convertible laptop from ASUS (only i must have 7000 PLN, but i don’t have)
What do you think about the fan noise? Does it get loud at times?
Not at all! It hardly ever get loud:)
Thank you, now i Will go for a regular lap top 😉
🇳🇴
Good luck!
Do you think this laptop is good for music production?
I would say yes but limited with the video production.
Hello , I bought an HP Specter x360 15t, but it doesn't charge and the other problem is it is always hot, even though it's new and I haven't used it, so where is the problem please?
Maybe in this case it is better to contact the costumer service; my laptop is never hot.
Would you recommend this computer for a college student?
100%
thanks for the info
Glad it was useful!
The pen input for writing is absolutely terrible, unusable for anything more than signatures. It skips around, has poor resolution so does always write where you are pressing, leaving gaps between letters. Really poor compared to the Surface line.
Thank you for sharing your experience!
How much does it cost? Do you maybe know some alternatives around 800 bucks?
Actually if you find 2019 version, it could cost $600-700
is there a issue in old spectre 360 that cant do a stright line clearly.. it like wavey lines
I see, good to know!
What about coding Sir i wanna buy it for future coding
Thanks for your video
Awesome review
Thank you for your review!:)
My computer won’t charge and I just got it yesterday. It charged randomly, but it no longer charges... what could be the problem?
I believe some technical issue and you should return it, probably!
I like my Hp Spectra
Thank you for sharing!
How to fix the temperature problems..? Mine goes up to 60-65 deg celcius while using just chrome...🥺
Wow, I am sorry to hear that...
Is your laptop an I5 or I7?
Because this laptop and Lenovo Ideapad S540 is what I'm thinking for buying a new one good for video editing..
i7
Thank you
Hilarious. I just bought the brand new 2020 from best buy. Earlier this week and returned it the next day because it was not the 2020 version.
It did not have the new pen, it did not have the braided power cable.
That's how you can tell us it's three new one or not.
hey matt, i just purchased one as well and am waiting for delivery. I also purchased from Best Buy. It was packaged and all as the 2020 model, but the item inside was not what the packaging indicated?
@@matthewnemoy3335 yeah I'm thinking everywhere got new shipments and it's just under the same exact name. There's no way to tell witch these videos either because they are all so close apart. The 2019 videos are right near the dates of the 2020 videos it's ridiculous. Which laptop is which. I wanted it but I returned it cause I didn't know. Lol it was running smooth I probably got the 2020 version which is the one with the new tilt pen and power cord does not have a braid.
I feel bad after doing all the updates bios, choosers, windows it was running quite and nice. My only complaint since I got it for art was that the bottom of the laptop has a huge grate for fan and hot air to leave and on tablet mode. It's right against the screen which causes it to get hot.
Otherwise solid computer sound is great at 70-80 don't push it.
I had the high end model with 2060 max q and 1Tb of storage. Never go with anything less then 1tb these days.
HP - Spectre x360 2-in-1 15.6" 4K Ultra HD Touch-Screen Laptop Intel Core i7 16GB Memory GeForce GTX 1650 Ti 1TB SSD - Nightfall Black
That's the one I went with
@@matthewnemoy3335 yeah sounds like the same one. Just check the side of the box when you get it to check the specs before opening. Tho returning was no problem. I just factory reset and put it all back
but it is still good for light gaming ??
I heard it has over heating problem...... Is it true?
not in my case, at least
The HP spectre laptop is actually worth buying
Agreed!
Nicee bruh, tht is very helpful.
Glad to hear that, thank you for your feedback!
wait so this laptop is not recommended for gaming? but i see reviewers saying that it is good for gaming! is this a different model? pls let me know and tell me which is the latest model! thanks for the epic review!
this is a 2019 model, and has a standard video card that does not support special graphics. It is great for work and significantly cheaper than the 2020 version
If you get the one with the nvidia gtx 1650 (or mx) then yes it's just enough for intense gaming. The ones with intel graphics aren't good for gaming and I think that's what he has.
So this isnt the latest model? I am confused right now. Can you link me to the latest spectre x360 model? thanks!
@@shane739 just look on best buy, this is the newest model. If you're looking to game on it make sure it's graphics card is either gtx or mx don't do with intel graphics, this one here is gtx www.bestbuy.com/site/hp-spectre-x360-2-in-1-15-6-4k-ultra-hd-touch-screen-laptop-intel-core-i7-16gb-memory-geforce-gtx-1650-ti-1tb-ssd-nightfall-black/6406696.p?skuId=6406696
