@EskilNaige Overheads tend to sound a bit more spacey, and every drum sounds absolutely perfect and isolated in this video. That's why my guess is that Hannes is playing over the recorded track which is synced with this video. The original track was even slowed down for Hannes to play over it.
Que bueno saber q tengo paisanos a los q les encanta esta música, y además tocayo jejeje. Pillate el de Terrestrial Exiled junto al maestro Ron Jarzombek
@ProGamersDK i'm ppretty sure i read in an interview or something somehwere that hannes didn't use triggers on most of the omnivium recording. and i know as a fact that it is VERY hard to get a consistent sound when drumming at >250BPM. it's just not something you can concern yourself with, with all the other things usually going on in a death metal song.
When I first heard this band..thanks Portnoy...I couldn't believe Adler had been in it figured no way could he play tech death like this. Adler impressed the fuck outta me!.As intricate as Grossmann, no but very very good!.I would love to see Zonder play this!.
There's an interview on RUclips somewhere where Hannes talks about Blotted Science and working with Ron, etc. Not sure if it's mentioned in there but it's a good interview. It's by Drumtalk if you want to search it.
The album is incredible and so is this!
Incredible. No words can describe how smooth this is
Absolutely incredible!
You are the man Hannes!
3 people ingested blatteria
Wish there were more videos like this; just raw drums and no backing track bullshit.
blotted science is like a laboratory! all excellent drummers has go through it in a way or another :)

Sou fã dele cara!
great!!!!!!!!
Excellent job!! :)
I really enjoyed this video. I think you play your instrument very well.
Haha this little raise of the eyebrows at the end says it all... "Yeah, I just did that."
@ProGamersDK
Of course it is! If not, the drum bass track is sampled. You can hear it. But there's nothing wrong with that.
Amaaazzzing!!!
@ProGamersDK But triggers are only used for clarity for the more up-to-speed players out there. But you are entitled to your opinion. Cheers!
Awesome!!!
few parts reminded me of Kenneth Schalk. killer post man!
Charlie did a great job but you sir are amazing!
Amazing

Oh how I wish to own a drum set like that.
@EskilNaige overhead mics. they just use 2 of them and one for the bass
bro. killer. do me a favor. upload more blotted science =D
Amazing.. :D
@EskilNaige I guess Hannes used some Overhead mics and mics for his bassdrum
Very well said \m/
MOTHER OF GOD!
Awesome
At the end the look on his face is like...Yeah, im the shit lol
Well because he is! :D
Fucking amazingness.
He looked like alex rudinger at the end there :)
@EskilNaige good question, i wanna know too
@ProGamersDK yes please enlighten us as to what is wrong with triggers?
Bow down!
Groovy ;)
@EskilNaige
It must be the original drum track for the recording. Or at least sampled like on the record.
@EskilNaige I'd say two overheads and a trigger/bass drum mic
Wow...
I'm pretty sure he plays 14" mb10 soundwave hats.
Any chance to have transcriptions?

Very funny tech, both listening and watching
It's still hilarious to this day seeing how many people couldn't count to 7 in the comments section lol
@ProGamersDK What is wrong with triggers?
@ProGamersDK hate to butt in, but you can get dynamics while using triggers. just sayin'..
Anyone know how to count the beat at :30
Who actually writes these drum parts? Is it Ron or whoever is drumming for him?
+Jonathan Keeler I would've thought Hanness wrote this himself.
