loved this video. finally someone who posts actually challenging scenarios. In america basically every street is extremely wide and easy to drive, and this video prooves that the software can manage very well even more complex scenarios, meaning the software could be released in europe too
Safe, yes. However, when trying to pass the moving car that was stopped, it would be good training for tesla folks to assess the best option, which was to pause until the now moving car went ahead, and then slip into the right lane, this positioning itself to make the turn as per the navigation. Great video/. Thanks. BUT - it seemed to assess that the navigation eventually wanted to go north on Victoria St (if I remember my Toronto streets correctly) lol😂 ❤. Awesome.
Tesla deals well with situations like this where humans struggle. Yet Tesla struggles with things that humans find easy. I am hoping that a lot of progress will be made soon as the computing power is already in place.
It’s interesting that you’d say that as sometimes I feel FSD does better in trickier environments than in basic conditions. This video shows how much it has progressed. I would never have felt comfortable with it downtown when it was on version 11.3.6.
Because, like anywhere else, the turning green lights are on together with pedestrian green, because that apparently (?!) used to save time when they invented it (but since that time things changed). So you always have to wait for pedestrians, and they 1) don't care amd 2) when the jaywalking isn't a crime, they don't care again.

Glad you enjoyed it! I’d love to see how it can handle the more challenging European streets.

Great comment. Thanks for sharing. So much to learn from this engagement. Good eyes on the streets!
Did you think FSD did a good job around the E-Bikers?

Do the crosswalks not have traffic lights in America?
Why are people always crossing?

What time in the video are you referencing?
@@Alarix246sometimes they advance the walking before the green light starts.
