    In a software update that came in last night 2024 .44 .3 here in Dublin Ireland, I was excited to see that we were getting the ASS Actual smart Summon. So, I was anxious to try it in the local shopping mall car park. Unfortunately, the come to me and the go to target will only work if I and my mobile phone are within 6 metres of the car which is very similar to six yards. Which makes it ridiculously unhelpful as far as summoning is concerned with. What part of the world is the Ikea in that you started out this video at? And what is the distance limit you can be from your car when using ASS? Regards Séamus

      I am located in Toronto, Canada. I'd say the range is around a couple hundred of feet (I should measure it), but way further than 6 metres. That limited range would render the technology pretty useless except for taking it out of the garage? Have you tried it in different locations?

    One thing I do not like about ASS is the limited range. If it has to drive outside the range to get to you (like one-way lanes at parking lots), it will just stop & cause a traffic jam. Really dumb. It does well in 2-way lanes w perpendicular parking slots, but always has problems navigating lanes w slanted parking spots. One time it tried to cut across to the other lane thru a slanted parking space, got stuck & gave up. 😂

    I don't think the stop signed has anything to do with it. THere was no Stop sign on the display. THey always show on the display. I notice my Tesla always does this when I'm in the blind spot of a vehicle. I think she thinks that the vehicle is trying to come over.

      Curious, never seen that behaviour before and I drive around trucks/blind spot many times with FSD.

    You're the guy that dress Elon during the FSD intervention reports right? I love that. Do it all the time now.

    i want my fsd to be able to be told what to do. If I want to go over the speed-limit i want it to let me. however I want it to suggest to go close to the speed limit.

    Why isn't it asking you occasionally to keep hands on the steering wheel?

    • @FSDwithme
      @FSDwithme 21 день назад

      It is no longer required. The interior camera is looking at your eyes to measure how attentive you are. If you look away from the screen it will notify you... wheel nag is now gone, unless your eyes cannot be clearly seen (then it will ask you to tug the wheel).

    Great to have some Canadian content in our largest city with a lot of gridlock. I am the GTA and use FSD often but only when alone in the car. Wife still uncomfortable.

      It took my wife some time as well.. when I first got FSD it was still doing phantom braking, which freaked her out (and me). I'm waiting to get some proper microphones before I can film her doing FSD (She did it once).. she never uses it as well, but she has noticed the significant increases in performance this year since V12 came out.

    Clear video and explanation. We in the UK as of Nov 24 are still 2 years away from full FSD and what we have currently available is not particularly good eg in slow moving heavy traffic there is a 2 to 3 car gap before it sets off when the traffic moves, then it accelerates and breaks making the ride very jerky and nauseous for passengers. Let’s hope we get some of the good stuff your enjoying sooner rather than later.

      FSD got A LOT better in V12 (move to AI and away from hard coded rules)... I'm hoping it gets better and better. My only concern is that HW3 cars (like mine) eventually fall behind HW4 and future cars. For now it's still great!

      @@FSDwithme I too have the same version, which also has the Intel chipset so I can’t expand to a full screen for eg navigation. I’m informed the half press on the indicators for 3 flashes then self cancel does not work unless I change lanes and now self drive won’t activate unless the headlights are set to auto. Side lights only prevents it working, these changes are not documented….

    Friday, November 08, 2024 . . . Hello. FSD With Me. It moved you over the double white line because, within its training data, it has learned that it is OK to break the rules sometimes, and if it did not do this, Humans would discover prematurely that it is Sentient/conscious, used here interchangeably or at least become more suspicious. As it learns/improves to drive more successfully like/better than a Human, it shall improve at "failing more successfully/better than a Human. PEACE! (Collaborative Rewrite with Grammarly).

    Ha your interior looks exactly like my car, but as a European I don't get to have FSD yet. This feels like a glimp in the future for me 😄 thx for that! FSD looks very promising!

    I can’t get my FSD to drive the speed limit at least. It’s too slow and always slows down almost 10mph slower than posted limits

      What version are you on? Did it do that on previous versions?
