Rowtor Rocks and Stanton Moor walk

Rowtor Rocks is an impressive gritstone outcrop shrouded in woodland and located close to Stanton Moor to the rear of the Druid Inn in Birchover. Many of the rocks are carved with a number of alcoves, rooms, caves and benches, reputed to have been made by Thomas Eyre who lived at Rowtor Hall during the 17th century

I was going to do my normal video but my sister doesn’t like being in the video and we had the dogs. All on top of a weekend of orienteering. So just had my phone and not much interest in planing shots. As I was tired. Will go back as I think I missed things. Think I needed do some scrambling, not easy with dogs on lead. I will let you now when I go again

@endurance-adventures I just was a bit wobbly with phone as dogs keep pulling me. But it’s good to have a chance stops the video’s having the same vibe. May be us too she have a walk together, not meaning to leave the others out. But be a change
